When I was about 8 I would stay with my grandmother and grandfather all the time. I was staying with them that weekend because my great-grandmother was in the hospital and I was supposed to visit her the next day.
I slept downstairs in the living room because I liked to watch TV late into the night. I was sleeping until I was awoken at around 4 AM. I had a strange feeling like I was being watched. I look over into the dining room and saw a bag of of Frosted Animal crackers, which my great-grandmother always had at her house for me. Then out of seemingly nowhere a white misty figure appeared in front of me. It gave me a feeling of happiness and comfort. And just as soon as it appeared, it was gone.
And the next day I found out my great-grandmother had passed away earlier that morning. I believe this experience was her way of saying goodbye to me.
