12 hours. That's how much I slept last night. To say I was tired and drained was very much an underestimation. I felt every single muscle in my body weighted a ton. My head too heavy to lift of the soft and welcoming pillow underneath it.

Nothing seemed to wake me up, not even when an annoying little bird decided to pick on my window all morning as if trying to come in. Not even when my phone rang a hundred time and definitely not when the landline ranged a couple of time.

At around 11A.M, I flattered my eyes open on my own. It was like I was tired of sleeping which I should be, it's not normal for a person to sleep all that much. My head was aching so bad and the buzzing from my phone didn't help one bit.

Squishing my eyes to try, I make that headache go away but it didn't help. Rubbing my eyes, I grabbed my phone and noticed my mother's endless missed calls. She was even ringing me right now.

Sighing, I decided not to make her anymore worried as it was so I answered, "Morning, mom. I'm not dead." I chuckled thinking I was probably too funny. I knew she would be worried sick from the amount of times she had called me, so cracking a joke might relax her a bit.

"Where have you been all day?" Or maybe not. She almost yelled in a worried voice making my already very strong headache stronger.

"It's only," I checked the clock on the bed side table before speaking, "Wow, it's 11 already?" I said more surprised than stating the fact really.

"Yes. I've been calling you and Zayn since 8A.M, neither of you is picking up and after yesterday I had the worst of scenarios in my head." She made me feel guilty even more.

"I'm sorry mom, I was just tired and slept in. I'm fine promise." I tried reassuring her.

"Thank god baby. I'm sorry I yelled, I just got worried. Anyway, when are you coming?" She asked back in her normal tone of voice.

"I just woke-up, mom." I sighed running a hand through my tangled hair. There were too many knots in it so I just got frustrated and got my hand out of it. I need to brush it.

"Okay babe. Eat some breakfast and freshen up then come, yeah? I won't rest until I see you." She insisted making me sigh. There was no running from that woman.

Come to think about it, maybe I should go to York. I need to speak with Ella, "Okay, mom. I'll see you in a couple of hours." We exchanged goodbyes then I hanged up.

Going to the bathroom, I freshened up and took a quick shower then I got dressed into a pair of black jeans and a pink hoodie. I was too lazy to look for something presentable to wear. Plus this was cozy.

My headache was somewhat better so I decided maybe I should just enjoy a nice breakfast on the balcony. Wrapping a hijab around my head, I grabbed my jam sandwich and cup of tea along with my phone and entered the balcony.

Seating on my wooden chair, I nipped on my sandwich while I dialed Zayn's number wondering why he hadn't called me yet.

The line was ringing, I took a sip of my warm tea and took a look at the street without really paying attention until a certain black Mercedes Benz caught my attention.

"Hello?" Zayn's sleepy voice answered moaning a little as if stretching.

"Morning sleepy head." I smiled unconsciously upon hearing his voice while I tried to take a better look inside that car.

It was too familiar for me to mistake it. Also it was too expensive for any resident on this street.

"Hey gorgeous. Did you have a good night's sleep?" He asked clearly a little more awake now.
