The other day's events made Waliyha so shook, Aaroosa even had to stay in bed with her till she fell asleep for her to feel safe. My heart ached for her but even more I was worried. She said the guy looked familiar and it got me panicking, could it be Eric?

No, it can't be. Waliyha never saw Eric's face if I remember correctly. Then who the hell was it?

Worry and overthinking got me to stay up all night, it was around 4 in the morning when my phone started buzzing on the dresser. Who would call at this hour?

Picking up my phone, I saw Zayn's name on the screen. "Hello?"

"What happened to my sister? Aaroosa texted me but she won't reply." Panic and anger were overpowering Zayn's voice.

"She is okay now, just relax and hear me out." I told him everything Waliyha told me a few hours earlier not leaving any detail behind. I repeated that conversation in my head a million time, by now I knew it by heart.

"What the hell? Why was she walking alone at night? Did I not warn you girls about that? Where the fuck was Rayn? It's his job to protect you three at all times." Zayn was yelling like it was my fault or something but I knew it was only out of frustration.

"Zayn calm down, she was out studying with a friend and wasn't back that late. No one could've predicted what happened to stop it." Trying to calm Zayn down, I knew he must've blamed himself as always. He was so protective, it was his nature.

"I predicted it! You think I hired Ryan to waste some money? Because I liked having a stranger around you girls all the time?" He yelled. I wasn't used to this type of argument with Zayn. It was getting to me, making me defensive.

"Why are you yelling at me? It wasn't Eric who attacked Waliyha. It was a random person and it could've happened to any of us anywhere."

"I know that, and I'm not saying its your fault Maggie," He sighed in frustration.

"It feels like it." I knew he was telling the truth but still I just felt his tone was attacking me.

Hearing Zayn sigh, his voice became softer as he probably realized he was harsh on me, "I didn't mean to Maggie, I'm sorry. It's just, you are all targets and I'm not there to protect you, thats why I hired Ryan so please don't go anywhere and I mean anywhere without him. Can you all fo that, for me?"

"Target? What do you mean by that?" He got me a bit worried, I mean yeah Eric had his eye on finding Ella even if it meant by hurting us but he hadn't shown up in forever.

There was a little pause making the tension between us grow before Zayn finally spoke, "I got a weird letter the other day telling me to keep a close eye on you."

"Me? I wasn't the one attacked Zayn. That letter was probably a hate letter from a fan or something." I was just trying to keep Zayn's heart at bay. That letter was definitely creepy and it obviously explains why Zayn had been acting weird lately but I don't think it could be related to Waliyha's incident. It couldn't have.

"I don't know, Mags. But it's better to be safe than sorry, yeah? So please, if you love me just don't go anywhere without Ryan and that goes for the other girls as well." Zayn spoke softly.

He was making a big deal out of this whole thing. As if we were under attack or something but I didn't want to argue any further so I just agreed to his illogical request.

The next day we all decided to spend it inside and have a girls night to make Wali feel a bit safer and get last nights events over with.
