Louis Pov

My eyes widen.

How much did she hear? Did she hear about his cheating?

I fucking hope she did.

How long was she standing there? When did she get here? Why is she here? Did the boys say something?

I look over to Gage and his face is paler than I remembered a second ago, eyes wider, and mouth just hanging open,

"I-I.. Josie oh god, I'm so.. I'm so sorry. Please let me exp-"

"Sorry? Don't be sorry! You know I love you Gage," she runs into his arms and hugs him tightly "I can't believe you said that!"

Gage keeps his arms up as she hugs him as if he doesn't know what to do.

Harry, Gage, and I all share the same confused and baffled looks.

Until realization hits. Hard. I can tell it hit me the hardest. Jo didn't get here in time to hear about the cheating. She only heard Gage say he loves her. Of fucking course.

Gage sighs a huge, and I mean HUGE, sigh of relief before hugging her back tightly with a smile.

"Oh, I love you two Josie! And I'm sorry for any fucked-up things I've done. From the past, present, and future. I'm so sorry, don't leave me Josie, please," he begs, pulling her closer.

He pulls her into a long- and I mean fucking long- kiss. The only reason they stop is because Liam clears his throat uncomfortably.

She hugs him back, "Of course I won't leave you. Everybody makes mistakes Gage, don't worry about it," she shhs him

He shakes his head and looks like he's on the verge of tears, "No Jo.. But theres just some thing I wish I could change and take back from the past so, so much" he whines, putting his head on her shoulder.

She seems a bit surprised, "Well, I can't help you change the past but I can help ease your conscious. Do you want to talk about it?" She says quietly.

"Oh, um, no it's fine," he mumbles, standing back up.

She looks slightly hurt.

"Yeah Gage, why don't you talk about it? It'll probably help the guilt. Just tell her, she's a great listener," I say with fake interest. It's like he immediately snapped out of his state with my words.

"Yeah! I help the boys with their problems all the time," she says motioning to them.

"No that's alright, really" he weakly smiles.

"Really? Are you sure?" She says quietly.

He nods.

And then reaches down to kiss her forehead, attempting to make her frown go away.

It didn't work.

If there's anything I know Jo hates, it's secrets.

"Soo.. not that I'm not happy to see you but what are you doing here?" He asks, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah what ARE you doing here?" I ask.

"Oh, well I came here looking for you and Harry because the boys said you'd be here,"

My head snaps over to the boys, sending them a glare.

They both put their hands up and point at Niall, "It was Niall!"
