Nobody speaks the whole ride.

That is until Jo finally breaks the silence,

"I think... mom and dad are going to get a divorce"

I glance at her but then back the road, "Jo just because they get in one little-"

"That's not the first time! They've been continuously fighting lately. Even when I'm on the phone with them. They've been married for more than 20 years, I think the flame in their relationship is slowly going out," she holds her tears back.

"Don't think like that. It might be just some phase they're going through. Every relationship has a couple of fights," I tell her.

She doesn't reply so I go to turn on the radio as she sighs to herself.

"We are family,

I got all my sisters with me-"

Jo begins to cry and I quickly change the station.

Of all songs?

Why the hell was it even on that station? Niall must've used my car without permission.

I chuckle nervously, "That's a cool song. But lets see what else is on!"

I turn the knob and a different song fills the car,

"Tonight is the night,

We'll fight till it's over

So we put our hands up,

Like the ceiling can't hold us"

"I like this song, do you?" I ask trying to make conversation.

She ignores me and hits next, "No."

"I knew you were trouble-"

She hits the next button.

"Body rock,

Girl I can feel your body rock-"

She slaps the volume button, making it mute.

"You're not feeling it anymore you ass!" She screams.

My eyes widen at her.

I park into the restaurant parking lot and sigh.

She crosses her arms and huffs loudly.

I don't know how our date will go if she's acting like this the whole time.

I hate to say this but I wish we never stopped by their house.

I finally get my chance with Jo and this happens.

I force a smile and rub my hands together, "Alright! Lets go on a date!" I exclaim encouragingly.

I quickly get out before she can give off her reaction.

Jogging over to her side of the car, I open her door for her and offer my hand to help her out.

She rolls her eyes, "I can get out by myself thanks"

She then ignores my hand and hops out, walking towards the restaurant.

I huff and close the door, locking the car.

I jog to catch up with her and grab her hand, intertwining our fingers.

She gets ready to try to pull away but I stop her,

"You better not fucking pull away," I tell her with an annoyed look.
