My worst enemy time. Even worse when you can't recall it or don't know what it is. It literally eats you alive. Well now there are two things that eat you alive time and walkers. They mope around wanting to feast on your flesh walking slowly taking their 'time', making you feel breathless from your countless running probably running into even more of them. When they reach out their grubby hands  for you and you feeling near death . That's how it is now, it's a game, it's survival, it's a survival game.

I walked along the endless dirt road kicking the leaves in the air and blowing backwards from the hot small winds that brush my face. Sweat dribbled down my face and my neck, my hands rough and dry holding my bow and arrows and my wheezing breath from the endless walking, running and the lack of fluid in my body.  I needed shelter, I needed food, water and sleep. The only thing that kept me going was my hope, I never lost it, I always held it close by. And all this time holding it and nearly wanting to let it go, it worked I found somewhere a prison, but someone beat me to it. A sight I hadn't seen in a long while. Happiness, joy and smiling. Small children running, playing. Others gardening and cooking, I smell it from here, but then I could also hear the growling from the walkers stumbling near the gates.  People stabbing them by the fences.

I stayed back in the trees out sight. Out of nowhere a dark woman came riding upon a horse. Hadn't seen one in years. It's glossy brown main flew through the wind and the clipety clop of it's shoes on the ground. The noise of it's galloping attracted the walkers though. The woman began to whistle asking for help more like. No one came and the walkers began to dig into the horses legs causing it to fall, leaving the woman fall off landing badly on her leg. Still no one had noticed.

I reached out some arrows and began to shot the walkers down. I ran down to where the woman was. She was stumbling for her life. I shot another arrow hitting two at the same time running through both their heads. There were about four or five left. I stood in front of the woman protectively. I spun around hitting another to the ground then another and another. Only two left I was struggling to get my arrow out of the last ones head causing another to tackle me down. A shot ringed through my ears. The walker fell limp hitting it head on mine. I pushed it off and getting to my feet. I looked down a barrel of a gun and then into a boys face when he lowered it. "Thanks." I said earning a nod of the head from the boy. He had long dark brown hair with blue eyes, he wore black skinny jeans and a flannel shirt and a hat. "Who are you?" A voice called out. It was a man he came out from behind the boy. "Someone who just saved your woman." I said looking to him and putting my bow over my back.

"What's your name?" He asked trying a different tactic.

"Raven." I said bluntly. I looked to the woman on the floor. I held out my hand to her and helped her up. "I think you should be more worried about you friend with the broken ankle." I said helping her stand better. "Why should we trust you?" he asked.

"If I were bad I would of let her die." I said then earning a laugh from the blue eyed boy.

"Fine you can stay but any funny business and your out." He said then walking away. I helped the women into the grounds of the prison. "You didn't have to help me." She finally said.

"But I did because this world don't need anymore shit." I said walking her into the building. A white haired man came up to me, he took her off my hands and I started to look around. "Need help." someone said from behind me I turned on my heals to face blue eyed boy. "Hum?" I said.

"Need anything?" he asked me.

"Nope." I said turning back around. I started heading towards the outside again.

"My dad told me to tell you that you need to go to shooting practice." He said making me stop and turn around.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked getting a little too close in his face. I didn't like this kid, I didn't really like the people, but there's not much I can do about it now. "Calm down bitch." I gasped at his reaction. "Me the bitch, you're the one taking orders from Daddy." I said smirking at my clever response. "My Dad was right, your probably not a very good shot." He said catching my attention as he started to walk away. I lifted my bow and one arrow aiming at his hat and let it go. The arrow went straight to his hat sending it to the wall in front of him. He turned around looking like a scared little lamb. "How's that for a not very good shot." I said retrieving my arrow and tossing his hat to him.
