Roman POV

I groan slightly as I walked to my car, where my daughter was waiting for me.

"Next time," I say to her as I get in the car, "You stay in the car like I asked."

"What was taking you so long the?" She asked while rolling her eyes, "You said you'd be here in a couple minutes. I'd been here for 20."

"Joelle-" I start, but she cuts me off.

"Listen dad," she said with a sigh, "I know it's hard to... Um..."

"Um what?" I ask her.

"How do I explain this to a grown man..." She mumbled to herself then sighed, "Dad I know it's hard to keep it in your pants-"

"Joelle!" I shout at her.

"What?" She shouted back, "I'm just saying! You've been divorced for a few years now. There's no telling how many nights you've went without and wanted some... Or you just did a one night stand-"

"Joelle!" I shout at her again and hit her arm slightly, "You don't know anything about what your talking about."

"Dad," she groaned, "Yes I do. I have friend, I go to school. Get over it, I know about sex. Jesus it's not bad to know about it."

"Your fourteen!" I protest, "You should know nothing about it, or having it."

"I'm not having it!" She shouted, "God damn it why the hell dose everyone always think I'm having it? Do you even trust me?"

"Watch your mouth young lady!" I shouted back at her, "You will not speak to me like that! Do you understand me?"

"You didn't even answer my question!" She shouted with a groan.

"Why is that even important?" I shout at her. It's not that I didn't trust her... It was just she was still young.

"You know what." She said while talking her seatbelt off.

"Where are you going?" I ask her as she opened the door.

"A walk," she said while getting out of the car and slamming the door and started walking away, "Just anywhere away from you-"

She was cut off by the sound of a car screeching to a stop, only mere inches away from her.

"Joelle!" I shout while immediately getting out of the car and jogging over to her.

"Oops..." She gave a nervous laugh, "Didn't see that coming."

"Oh my god," I heard a familiar voice say as they got out of the car, Naomi. "Are you ok? I didn't see you-"

"You could have killed her!" I shout at her.

"Dad!" Joelle shouted at me, "It was my fault, Jesus! I didn't even look before walking off, it's not her fault, God. Don't yell at her."

I glare at Naomi for a few more seconds before groaning.

"I'm so sorry..." Naomi trailed off, "I really didn't mean for this to happen..."

"It's ok." Joelle said with a smile, "It's my fault."

"Where were you going?" Naomi asked her, "The building about to close up. You leave something inside?"

"No," she said while looking at me, "I was getting away from him."

She rose a eyebrow, "Why?"

"It's our personal business," I tell her, "And I would appreciate if you stayed out of it."

Joelle rolled her eyes, "Cause he's acting like a dick."
