Chapter 13; Most important job

"I can't believe I'm doing this.." J said as he approached the camp.
He opened the door, seeing the alarm system is already put out.
All the lights have been turned off, except for the light in the bathroom that always stays on.
J spotted the dormitories, and headed toward them. He opened the door as quietly as he could. He turned on one of the lights in the hallway for better vision.
He then opened the door to the right, which was the closest. It was the girls' dorm room.
As soon as he grabbed the spray that should kill all of them as soon as they breathed it in, someone spoke.
"Shut of that fricken light, it's midnight!" Ella said, as she covered her head in her blanket.
"Dang it!" J said under his breath.
"Wait.. Who is.. AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Ella was wide awake and screaming as she saw J standing in the dorm.
The other girls woke up in a second and started screaming as well.
J bolted out of the room, and out of the camp as fast as he could
"Dang it!!" He said, putting his head in his hands.

-meanwhile-

"Who was that!?" Zoey said as she was turning on the lights in the room, and all of the other lights in the dorm. Felix and Jace woke up, and now were both in the girls' dorm as well.
"I don't know, he was wearing a mask. But did you see what he was holding?" Ella asked.
"What?" Melody asked.
"He had a spray can." Ella said.
"Like what? Spray paint?" Kenzie asked.
"No. It didn't look like spray paint. When the light from the hallway shone on it for a second, I saw a skull with crossbones.. A poison sign." Ella said, her eyes wide.
"What, was he going to try and poison you guys?" Jace asked bewildered.
"Maybe it was Jacob, didn't get enough satisfaction locking me in a burning room." Felix said with disgust.
"It does sound likely.." Melody said, agreeing with Felix.
"No, if he's still in the camp we would of found him when we were looking." Zoey said.
"I heard screams, what's going on?" Jordan said, walking in the room in pajamas, with Mitch following.
"It's a little late for that, don't you think?" Ella asked.
"What do you mean?" Mitch asked, confused.
"If something did happen, which it did, we would all be dead by the time you came, if the person who tried to murder us didn't chicken out and run." Ella finished.
"Must of got it from Felix!" Zoey said, meaning Felix is a chicken.
"Stop, that's not nice." Melody told Zoey.
"Yeah, thanks Mel." Felix said smiling at her.
Melody looked down.
"What happened!!?" Jordan asked, a little more forcefully now.
"Someone came in here and tried to poison us by spraying this vapor in the air." Kenzie said, it was hard to describe because she didn't actually see it.
"Did anyone see who they were?" Jordan asked, feeling fright creeping up.
"I did." Ella said.
"But he had a mask." Ella added quickly.
"Wait! I did see something!" Ella said remembering it.
"What was it?" Jace asked, getting excited.
"I saw a piece of hair come out of his hood, it was blonde, like yours!" Ella said pointing to Jordan.
"Not much of a lead, there's millions of blonde people in the planet, did you see anything else?" Jordan asked.
"Nothing really, he looked prepared, other from the hair, I couldn't see anything, except eyes because of the holes in the mask." Ella said.
"Did you see what color?" Melody asked Ella.
"Sort of.. They were reddish brown. Like really reddish, but not completely. Most likely contacts so we couldn't see the actual color." Ella said.
"How did you wake up anyways?" Felix asked Ella.
"The idiot turned on one of the lights in the hallway, and when he opened the door, the light came blasting in!" Ella said.
"Well thank god your a light sleeper, if you didn't wake up, we'd most likely be dead!" Kenzie said, thanking Ella.
"Yeah, if you slept like Melody, you'd never wake up! Honestly it's a miracle you woke up to the screaming!" Felix said laughing, remembering that one morning.
"Wait, how do you know I'm a heavy sleeper?" Melody asked Felix.
"Stalker much?" Zoey said laughing.
"No, Jace and I were talking about it that morning, the day of the fire." Felix said.
"Oh, well how was she supposed to know?" Kenzie asked laughing.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY SAW YOU!?" Sir Malum says, full of pure anger.
"I'm sorry! One girl woke up and started to scream, I'm sorry!" J said.
"WELL GO BACK THERE, AND FINISH THEM OFF! WHO CARES IF THEY SEE YOU, AS LONG AS YOU SPRAY THEM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!" Sir Malum yells through the earpiece, causing J to cringe.
"Okay, okay!" J says getting annoyed.
"I'll try again." J says before clicking off the earpiece and heading back into the camp.
"Okay, everyone sleep in the same dorm tonight, so there's more of you together." Jordan says before he leaves, and J dodges just in time to not get caught.
He sounds so familiar..
J thought as Jordan walks by.
After about thirty minutes, when J was pretty sure everyone was asleep, he headed back into the room.
"I can't do this." J says, as he holds up the spray can, knowing he couldn't do it like that, and chickens out again, he thinks he has an idea, a better idea for finishing them off for good.

Next Morning

"So how did everyone sleep?" Jace asked as everyone was awake, well except Melody of course.
"Bad!" Zoey said.
"I kept having nightmares of people in masks trying to kill me!" Zoey added.
"She's sleeping pretty well!" Kenzie said, pointing to Melody who was all curled up in a blanket.
"Should we wake her?" Ella asked.
"Can't believe anyone even slept!" Ella adds to Kenzie.
"Nah, let her sleep." Felix said looking over at Melody.
"If we don't wake her at some point, she'll never wake up!" Zoey said laughing.
As if on cue, Melody starts to get up slowly, her hair all coming out of her bun. She notices everyone looking at her.
"What?" She asks, her voice full of sleep.
Everyone laughs, and Melody slides off the bed and sits down next to Mackenzie, pulling the strap to her tank top up.
"So what did I miss?" Melody asks.
"We were just talking about that weirdo last night." Jace said, answering her question.
"What about him?" Melody asks.
"Nothing in particular, but we think he's still in the camp." Mackenzie said.
"Wonderful." Melody said sarcastically.
Ella starts to laugh.
"What?" Melody asks her.
"Just that face you made when you said that!" Ella said cracking up with laughter.
"Shut up." Melody said, throwing her pillow at Ella.

-Meanwhile-

"What's the status? Did you kill them yet?" Sir Malum asks J the next morning.
"No not yet." J says, immediately wishing he would of lied and said he did.
"WHAT!? THATS THE SECOND TIME NOW! ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE ME RECONSIDER PUTTING YOU IN AS SECOND IN COMMAND?!" Sir Malum was furious.
"Just, let me do my thing! I have an idea!" J said to Sir Malum, and he did have an idea.
