Chapter 39; Bingo!

All of the students sat at their desks, Jordan sitting at the teacher's desk looking at all of them.
"I'm very disappointed in all of you" Jordan said. Everyone looked down at their desks in shame, except Joey, who could care less.
"I hope you all know that I was very proud of all of you, doing all that work and putting up with Mitch for so long. We were actually planning a surprise for you" Jordan said sounding upset. "I'm sorry..." Zoey said feeling bad.
"So what exactly happened?" Felix asked confused. Today was his first day back at school and Jordan is the teacher again. They just have to keep a close watch on him.
"I knocked Mitch out, he was being a douchebag" Joey said rolling his eyes. "Whoa really? Haha awes-" Felix started but then saw Jordan's face and then continued his sentence with:
"I mean, what? That's horrible". They all sat staring at their desks.
"What was the surprise? If you don't mind me asking.." Mackenzie asked wanting to know, she couldn't help it, her curiosity was taking over.
"Well... I was planning on having a fun day, in the main building we set up this little game of bingo and there were going to be prizes to win.." Jordan said upset because he wanted to reward his students.
"Pfft. Bingo? What are we? old ladies?" Joey asked thinking the idea was ridiculous.
"Well, I thought it would be fun, and if you got a bingo you could get a prize" Jordan looks around at everyone hoping they would agree that his idea is amazing.
"Honestly, I'm glad I knocked Mitch out, we don't have to play a stupid old lady game." Joey says as he leans back his chair.
"Four on the floor, Joey" Mitch says as he walks into the school, an ice pack on his face.
"I swear if I hear that one more time I'll do a four on your face" Joey said slamming his chair back down. "You know what? We're playing bingo, since you seem to hate it so much, we're going, specially you Joey." Jordan said as he got up.

Once everyone sat down and got their card and bingo chips they were ready. Jordan had a machine which had tiny balls in it, all having a number and letter on each one.
"B3, B,3." Jordan repeats again. Melody puts down a chip, along with Zoey; no one else has the number. Jordan starts to call a few more numbers:
"I16" "I 1, 6" Jordan said repeating each number.
"Pfft, you're not 16, you've got to be at least 20." Felix says rolling his eyes.
"I 16, puh-lease"
Melody giggled, and Felix gave her a funny look.
"B4, B,4" Jordan says.
"Before what?" Felix shouts out.
"Oh my god! Do you even know how to play bingo?" Mitch asks walking over. "Of course I do! Er, what's bingo?" "You seriously don't know how to play bingo?" Mitch asked annoyed.
"I can't.. Remember" Felix said his head starting to hurt.
"Ugh I'll teach you" Mitch says as he pulls up a chair next to Felix.
"What the.. Why does the bingo chip look like someone took a bite out of it?"
Mitch asked disgusted as he looked at the bingo chip.
"Oh I did it, they're not good at all, defiantly not my favorite flavor of chips, must be one of those new Lays flavors" Felix said shrugging.
"Dude!" Jace said.
"What?" Felix asked confused.
"You're not supposed to eat those idiot" Joey said as he put down another chip after Jordan called "G54".
"Oh.. How was I supposed to know? They're called chips!" Felix says.
"Wow you're dumb." Zoey said shaking her head.
"Hey! He's not dumb!" Melody said defending Felix.
"Yeah! Thanks... Uh.." Felix said as he looked at Melody and squinted.
"Er.. What's your name?" Felix asked. Melody felt her heart drop 1 million stairs.
"Melody.."
"Oh okay" Felix said looking down at his card.
"BINGO!" Ella yelled as she placed her last chip down which made her bingo. "OH COME ON! I HAD ONE MORE" Jace yelled in frustration.
"Awesome, let me check it first" Carly said as she walked over ignoring Jace's yelling.
"Yup, that's a bingo." She said as she finished looking at the card. Ella got up and walked towards the table with all the prizes. She grabbed a stuffed pig and walked back.
"Why did you get that? You could've gotten a water gun and you could've squirted people!" Zoey said imagining squirting her friends with it.
"I wanted the pig, his name is Mr. Pork-chop." Ella said smiling as she held her stuffed pig.
They continued to play bingo, Jace, Zoey, and Ella were the only ones to win so far.
"Hey, I only have one more until I get a bingo" Joey said looking at the number he has left to win a bingo. It was "N34".
"N35, N 3,5" Jordan called.
"Are you kidding?" Joey said looking at his 34.
"Haha sorry Joe." Jace said laughing. "Don't call me that." Joey said giving him a look.
"N33, N 3,3"
"Go kill yourself, go kill, yourself." Joey said mocking Jordan. Melody started to laugh.
"N44" "N 4,4" Jordan said. Joey leaned his head back in his chair in frustration.
"This thing is rigged"
Everyone started to snicker at Joey's bad luck.
"Hey, at least you're close, I mean look at me! I only have one chip down." Felix said frowning as he looked at his card.
"That's because you ate all of your other chips!" Ella said as she started to laugh.
"Once you get past the vomity flavor it tastes pretty good" Felix said shrugging.
"Ew!" Everyone starts to shout.
"I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" Felix said starting to laugh at their reactions. "BINGO!" Melody yells. Carly came over and checked to see if it was a bingo, it was, and Melody went up to get a prize. She saw a cute eyeshadow pallet and took that.
"Alright next round! Clear off your chips!" Jordan shouted as he started up the machine again.
"N34, N 3,4" Jordan said as he grabbed the plastic ball out of the machine and placed it down. Joey put his head on the table.
"I give up on this stupid game, if I was an old lady all of this stress would've given me a heart attack by now." Joey said holding his head.
Once they finished with bingo they were sent back to school and got told to open up their new "Altican Note Catcher." notebooks and got started on their seven hundred word essay, it got raised up another 100 because of what happened. Felix didn't have to write it, they said it would be "too much stress" on him because of his coma, and because he has no idea who Altican even is anymore.
