8.1 Lay-The Accident

"OH REALLY?" Lay questions your sanity.

*no. no no no I can't beat you* "YEA. I BET I CAN BEAT YOU IN A RACE." You confidently say. *NO why am I challenging the person I like*

"FINE THEN. LET'S SEE AFTER SCHOOL" lay yells. *no why am I yelling at her? I like her and now she probably hates me*

"FINE" you storm off

~after school~

Lay is stretching his arms and legs at the front of the school. You come up to him.

"Hi" you say.

"Hey okay so what's the route?" lay questions.

"Here to the center of the park." You say as you stretch your calves.

"Okay then. Ready?" lay asks.

"Yea" you say.

"3.....2.......1......"

"GO" the both of you yell.

In the beginning of the race Lay starts at a slower pace to save his energy. You see that he is lagging behind quite a lot so you slow down your pace and yell behind your shoulder, "YAH LAY. WHY ARE YOU THE TURTLE? AM I GONNA BEAT YOU?"

"Not this time" lay mumbles under his breath. Lay starts running at full speed and passes you. He turns his head back. "Who's winning now?" the sidewalk you two were running on came to a stop and met a road full of traffic.

Lay ran on the road

And just

Stopped.

You were a 1/2 second behind.

Everything became a blur.

Many noises rushed through your head.

There were beeps.

Screams.

Screeches.

Blood.
