Twenty-Eight

Third Person's Point Of View:

"You know bringing the attempted murderer into this house isn't going to go down well you know that," Brody said closing the door behind yn and Calum and boarding it back up. "I didn't do it," Calum said as Brody turned around to look at them both.

"I don't care what you say, he's still lying upstairs unconscious," Brody said looking at both of their hands joined together. He shook his head, "the others apart from Luke are in the living room" he informed yn and Calum before he walked out of the kitchen heading towards the living room.

"I need to go and talk to Luke, what do you want to do? Come with me or join the others-" yn went to say but was cut off by Calum talking over her. "I'm coming with you, there's nowhere else I want to be not without you anyway not at the moment," he said."Okay leaving you alone is not an option, come on then Mr joined at my hip" YN said sending Calum a smile to say she was only joking. He smiled, in Calum's eyes, she was the only person making him happy, making him smile making him feel loved somehow even though he barely knew her and the thought of being in love so soon was crazy. She believed him when his friends betrayed him well after she realised it was Tristan.

Both of them left the kitchen and walked along to the stairs walking past the living room to hear Livvie calling him an attempted murderer. Yn squeezed his hand as they walked past, both of them ignoring the comment even though it affected them both. They walked up the stairs, hand in hand Calum following yn in a way that a boy and girl head up the stairs to the bedroom to have intercourse but not in their case, they weren't walking up the stairs to do that they were heading up the stairs to see Luke and to see how Brad was.

Opening the door to yn's bedroom, she looked at Calum for a second. "Tristan if that's you again, I'm going to tell you one more time I don't need a break so piss off" they heard Luke say, his voice sounding annoyed. Both Yn and Calum looked at each other before stepping into the room, Luke's head darted up when he heard footsteps he sighed in relief when he saw who the footsteps belonged too. Luke smiled when he saw his best friend, he was happy he was back and happy that yn was able to bring him back to the house but then he thought to himself, what if saying he didn't believe Calum in the first place has wrecked their friendship?

None the less Luke got up from where he was sat for the first time and walked over to Yn and Calum. Luke wasted no time hugging his best friend it might not have been the manliest hugs but Luke didn't care he was happy to see his friend again. Luke started to get nervous as the seconds went by and Calum didn't hug him back but he had nothing to worry about as Calum let go of yn's hand and hugged him back much to Luke's relief.

Yn closed the door behind herself and walked over to where Bradley was lying still unconscious. She sighed, she had slight hope she would come back to see him awake but she wasn't that lucky, she was lucky to convince Calum to come back with her. She didn't know what she would have done if Calum didn't come back with her, she really liked him hence why she kissed him and agreed to let him sleep in her room even though she already had Brad in there, she couldn't let go of him.

She sat down on her own bed, next to Brad as he lied there still, breathing but not moving. She moved the strands of hair that happened to fall on his face. She never once thought this would happen but sometimes things happen that you can't control. There was one thing she could control was her life and Brad's life at this moment in time as he couldn't look after his own.

"Right that's enough now Luke," Calum said getting out of Luke's embrace. "Sorry I just missed you, I didn't think you would come back after what happened," Luke said looking at his best friend. "I'm going, to be honest, I wasn't going to come back not when nearly everyone believes I tried to kill Brad but Yn persuaded me to come back, I came back for her," He said coldly looking at Luke quickly, Calum didn't want to sound mean to Luke, Luke was his best friend after all but what Luke said hurt him, hurt him a lot that his own best friend could think he was capable of such a cruel and heartless thing. It wasn't going to end their friendship but it changed it slightly especially for Calum.
