Chapter 12

Nia's pov

It's Monday and Saturday night Mason went home. So did the other Boys.

We are already at school and everyone left me as always. I was at my locker putting my book bag in there.

Someone came behind me and pushed me into my locker. I hit my head. I turned around and looked up it was Zach.

Zach said " stay away from Mason." I said " he is my friend." Zach stomped on my legs and said "stay away from Mason!!" I cried and Mason punched me in my face. My nose started bleeding.

Zach punched me in my stomach and kicked me then left. Everyone in the hallway was gone. I cried. I got and went to the nurse's office.

I ended up staying in the nurse office all day. When I left my legs and stomach still hurt.

Mason was outside waiting for me. I looked around and didn't see Zach. I rushed to Mason. Mason said "why wasn't you in any of your classes today?" I said " I was sick." Mason said "you okay now?" I said "yea,umm Mason I can finish the rest of the project you don't need to come."

Mason said "no it's okay,What's going on?" I said " nothing let's go."

We got to my house. We did the project and finished. No one was home. Hayes went to his friend house.

I said "are you leaving now?" Mason said " no I never leave this early,Nia what is wrong?" I said " nothing." Mason said " I know you Nia what is wrong?" I said " nothing Mason in fine."

Mason tried to kiss me and I turned my head. Mason looked sad. Mason leaned on top of me. He was on my legs and it hurt. I said "owwwww MASON my legs!!"

Mason sat up sadly and pulled up my pants leg. Mason looked at my bruises. He sadly said " baby what happened?" I started crying. I said " Zach stomped on me and punched me in my face."

Mason looked shocked and dropped a few tears. Mason said "when?" I said "before school started." Mason said "what else?" I cried "he told me to stay away from you and if I don't he will hurt me more."

Mason said "baby."

Mason kissed my cheek. He said " baby you could've told me." I said "he was gonna hurt me." Mason picked me up and put me in his lap. He said " I would've let him hurt you baby."

Mason kissed me on my forehead. I said " I'm not gonna go to school tomorrow." Mason said " okay but I need to leave now but text me tomorrow." I kissed Mason and said "okay."
