Josh's POV
We had been walking around for hours, the sun had already set, and we were losing hope. I glanced down at my phone, realising it only had 2% battery. Fuck.
"Um, Si, my phone's running out of battery!" I said, worried.
"What?" Simon replied.
"Josh, use my phone!" Tobi said, handing me his phone.
"Si, I'm going to call you with Tobi's phone. Don't worry." I said.
"Ok..." Simon said, clearly unsure.
"I'll be one minute. Promise." I said, hanging up and grabbing Tobi's phone, putting Simon's number in just before my phone ran out of battery completely. I called him several times before he picked up.
"Hi." Simon whispered through the phone."Hey." I muttered back.
"What time is it?" Simon asked. I looked at my phone, and sighed.
"11:00" I said, frowning. I heard Simon's cute yawn through the phone
"I'm tired." He whispered.
"Um, go to sleep, then." I said.
"I can't. I'm scared." He whispered.
"Is ok, you can sleep." I said. He yawned again.
"I don't want to. I'm too scared." He said. "Where are you?" He asked. I looked round.
"I'm not sure myself." I muttered.
"Wait, did you say it was 11:00?" Vikk said. I nodded and he looked panicked. "That's my curfew! I've gotta go!" He said, looking round. He looked really scared. I wonder why?
"I'll take you." Tobi offered, taking Vikk's hand. "Sorry, Josh." He said, turning back the way we came and running, Vikk in tow. Great. Now I'm alone. The pricks. At least Tobi didn't take his phone...
"Simon?" I said.
"Yeah?"
"Vikk and Tobi had to leave."
"So you're alone?"
"Yep." I said, looking behind some trees. I stood on a tree stump and looked round, searching for a place Simon could be hiding in. I spotted a tiny tuft of hair in the distance. "Could you stand up?" I asked, wondering if it was him.
"Sure." He said. The was some rustling, and I looked back at the little tuft of hair...
