When I woke up, I half expected it to be in the familiar room I had known for half my life. To be recieved by the stench of feces and blood, to be able to look down at my dirt covered body, to see my windmill at the corner of the cell and hear Rei's voice say good morning from behind the bars.

But unfortunately the sight that awaited me was quite different...

The first thing I noticed after opening my eyes was, along with the blaring pain rushing through my body, the two figures bickering a few feet away and one more sitting quietly on the corner with closed eyes.

I was laying on my own bed, bandages covering my whole body. After confirming the single one was Shin, my gaze shifted to the first pair and I was actually surprised to see Jiro yelling at Ryuu who was leaning with one foot against the wall.

"Do you even realize you could've killed her?!"

"I should've."

"Are you even listening to yourself? Did you forget what Ma' told us?"

"I didn't."

"Stop giving me half assed answers!" Jiro balled his fists and his jaw visibly clenched.

"Then don't ask stupid questions."

"She's a little girl! Were you really planning on killing her?" Jiro growled.
"We've all done it before. Why would she be different-"

"I'm not a little girl, " I grumbled as I straightened up to a sitting position. Immediately they both looked at my direction, Jiro seeming relieved and Ryuu with amusement clear on his features.

"Emi! You're awake!" Jiro sped over to me. "Shin, you were supposed to tell us when she woke up. " he grumbled.

"She woke up."

"Yeah, I noticed." Jiro rolled his eyes before placing them on me. "You were out for three whole hours. I'm glad you're okay," he smiled. I clenched my fists and looked at Ryuu who was shooting me a smirk.

"Let's go again. This time I'll beat you for sure." I said while pushing the thin bedsheets away and bringing my feet to the edge of the bed.

"Alright. Bring it," he gave me a sly look.

"Nope. You're not going anywhere." Jiro pushed me back on the bed and I growled.

"Move."

"Do what the girl says. Let her try to redeem her damaged pride." Ryuu smirked.

"Shut up Ryuu. She just woke up." Jiro shot back while still waiting for any attemps I did at standing.

Knowing I wasn't going to be able to challenge Ryuu anytime soon, at least while Jiro was around, I just concentrated on glaring at the lilac haired boy who was back to bickering with the blonde. He remained leaning with his foot against the wall.

Upon closer inspection I managed to get a glimpse of white bandages wrapped around his ankle.

"Ryuu," I called, the ghost of a smirk on my face. "What happened to your ankle?"

His brows furrowed in confusion before his eyes turned cold and a glare was directed at me. Without answering he spun around and walked over to his bed, plopping down on it with his back facing us.

I heard Jiro laughing beside me and the smirk I held widened.

"You dislocated his ankle," Jiro smiled while shaking his head. "Nobody even manages to land one single punch at him, and you dislocated his ankle." He laughed to himself.

I smiled wide upon hearing this, a wave of accomplishment going through me although I still wanted to do more than that.

"Madam wanted us to go to her office once Emi woke up." Shin said while standing up, smacking the back of Ryuu's head who jumped up and looked about ready to kill him.
