After walking for awhile we got to a grassy area of land. Hayes suddenly stopped walking. "We are here," he yelled throwing his hands in the air. "Grass? What are we gonna do with grass?" I asked. "Look over there," he pointing to a muddy patch of land.

"What? What are we going to do with mud?" Tez asked. Hayes gave a mischievous grin. "We are gonna play in the mud," he answered. "What? Man are you crazy? Why are we going to play with mud?" Tez asked as he freaks out.

"It's a country boy thing. More or less," I shrugged. "Exactly," Hayes agreed. "Boy no," Tez said. "I'm afraid so," Hayes replied putting his hand on Tez's shoulder.

All of a sudden Hayes' right shoulder was covered in mud. He turned to face me slowly. "You did not just do that, " Hayes said. "Nope," I answered trying to hold in a smile. He grabbed my left wrist and looked at my hand. "You did," he said. "Well what are you gonna do about it then country boy?" I teased. He squints his eyes at me. "You're on," he said.

We ran to the mud patch. Hayes got there first because he has longer legs then me. When I finally got to the mud patch he flung mud on my stomach.

I gave him a mad look and pushed him into the mud. He looked at me surprised. "I'm stronger than I look," I said. I turned to run. I got about two feet in front of myself, when Hayes' hand grabs my ankle making me fall face down in the mud. I picked my head out of the mud, and looked at him. He started to laugh. I quickly turn around, and tackle him.

After that we started to wrestle in the mud. I almost got to pin him down a few times, but in the end he had me pinned to the mud patch.

I had my eyes closed, but could feel him looking at my face. I opened my eyes, and looked up at him. He was beautiful with mud all over his hair, face, and neck.

He got off of me and said,"I now know that you aren't as strong as me." I stuck my arm in the air. He grabbed my hand, and pulled me up. "Yeah yeah, lesson learned country boy," I replied once I was standing up.

"Where's Tez?" I asked looking around for him. "Probably back at the house. He's a LA boy who can't stand getting dirty," Hayes replied.

We start to head back to his house. It wasn't an awkward walk back to his house. We made jokes and messed around with each other like on the way to the mud patch.
