I entered the hospital with the bag on my hands and I smiled when I saw my mom.

"Thank God. I'm starving." She smiled, grabbing the bag and pulling over the desk and then, turning around to look at me. "Oh. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She hugged me. "Thank you for bringing me dinner."

"Is everything okay?" I looked around.

"Except for half the accident victims in a 10-car pile-up being rerouted here from downtown, and the ER attending not answering any of his pages? Yeah, I'm okay."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What does "not answering pages" mean?" I asked her.

"It means that nobody can find him. So now we have to wait for the on-call to get here."

"Miss?"

"Yes?" My mom turned around to look at the woman.

"Excuse me. Can I kind of please have something for the pain?" The woman asked.

"Okay. I'm sorry. I know. But actually giving you something could complicate things, so... We really just need to wait for the doctors, okay?" My mom said, pointing to a chair and the woman sat down. "Okay, how much longer on Dr. Hilyard?"

"Ten minutes." The nurse said.

I slowly sat down next to the woman, she was whimpering in pain and I looked at her. "Uh... You know, I think I read online that sometimes human contact can help with pain." I said and she looked at me, nodding.

I looked around just to make sure that no one was watching us and I slowly placed my hand on her arm and took her pain away. She looked up at me and smiled softly.

"Someone... Someone help me!"

I turned around and I saw Ethan getting into the hospital holding Danny. I quickly turned around and my mom and I helped Ethan to put Danny on a chair but he was screaming in pain. I quickly grabbed Ethan's arm.

"What did you do to him?" I asked while my mom was checking Danny.

"Nothing. He said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing, but it just kept getting worse." Ethan replied.

"This is not good." My mom said, touching his throat. "How much longer on Dr. Hilyard?" She asked and looked back at Danny. "His larynx has shifted to the side. I think it's a tension pneumothorax."

She was interrupted by Danny throwing up some white liquid on the floor.

"Mistletoe." Ethan whispered.

We entered the room with Danny, who was having more trouble breathing by now.
