train - chapter one hundred seven

stiles

I was looking at the signs, paying attention to the names when I heard a voice echoing.

"Stiles..."

I turned around. It seemed like Cassie's voice.

"Stiles."

"Cass?" I breathed out.

"Attention, all passengers. The train will be arriving in 25 minutes." A voice echoed through the speaker.

"Cassidy?" I looked around, searching for her in the crowd of people.

"Stiles? Stiles! Stiles, look at me."

I ran as fast as I possibly could, passing through people. That's when I heard a gunshot and I stopped. I looked to the side and I saw my father, holding up his gun.

"Give the boy some room." He said and everyone started to move back.

"Dad? Dad?"

He smiled and I ran towards him, hugging him tightly.

"Oh, God. Oh, I found you." He said, looking at me with a smile. "I can't believe I found you."

"Dad, I can hear Cassie. I think... I think I can get to her." I told him.

That's when we heard the horses neighing inside the tunnels.

"You need to get out of here. Don't worry about me." He said.

"What, you're kidding, right?" I asked, trying to stop him.

"Go. Get help. Find your friends."

"Yeah, and what about you?" I asked.

He smiled, "We'll find each other again."

"Dad."

"Stiles... I'll hold them back. Now get the hell out of here. Go. Go!"

I sighed, nodding and running to the other side, jumping on the train line and running on the other side of the tunnels. A bright green light appeared in front of me and I stepped back, looking at it.

"I have to bring you back...." Cassie's voice echoed.

The wind was strong against my skin but I continued to walk towards the light.

"Stiles."

I pulled my hand up, reaching out to the rift, I was sure I could see her.
