Chapter Twenty-Seven- A sleeping prince

Suave's P.O.V

I woke up, there was a soft amber glow in the room. The sun was setting.
I was about to sit up but I remember the injured vampire in my arm. I looked down at him, he was still sleeping. He looked so peaceful despite him being hurt.
I placed a kiss on the top of his skull, getting up and gently placing him onto the bed.
He whined slightly when he felt me let go off him. I sighed, sitting back down.
"Do you really want me to stay?" I asked, there's no point talking to a sleeping vampire but oh well. I picked him up carefully putting him on my lap.

Encre walked in. "Hello Suave." He smiled.
"Hello Encre, where's Fallacy?" I asked.
"Asleep, just like Jasper." He answered.
"Was his burn bad?" I questioned.
"Not too bad, it seems he was only in the sun for about thirty seconds. It is shocking Jasper didn't get burned too." Encre stated.
"Yeah..." I murmured.
"Is Jasper's back bad?" He asked.
I shook my head. "It doesn't look bad, but there was a lot of debris in his wound which is worrying."
"It is... But I doubt anything bad will happen, you did clean it pretty well" Encre said reassuringly.

Fallacy then walked into the room, stretching.
"Good morning Fallacy." Encre smiled hugging Fallacy gently.
"Good morning Encre, Suave." He stated.
"Good morning Lord Fallacy." I spoke.
"How is my son?" He asked.
"Not sure, he is still sleeping." I gestured to Jasper in my arms.
"Okay..." He sighed, looking regretful.
"It wasn't your fault mon amour (my love)." Encre spoke softly, kissing Fallacy's cheek.
"I feel like it is." He sighed again. (Again with the sighing Fallacy?)
"It isn't Lord Fallacy, it's Eterna's." I stated looking down at my sleeping love.
"Wait Fallacy, since you're the king, is Jasper the prince?" Encre asked.
"Yes, technically." Replied Fallacy. I just remembered that!
"My sleeping Prince..." I muttered, kissing Jasper's forehead.
Jasper seemed to wake up when I muttered that. His face tinted a slight pink.
"Morning m'lord." I smiled.
"Morning Suave..." Jasper looked around but his eyes stopped at Encre and Fallacy. "Morning Father, Encre."
"Good morning Jasper." The two answered.
"How are you?" Asked Encre.
"My back and neck hurt a little, but I'm fine." Jasper smiled. "what about you?"
"I'm fine, Fallacy has a burn on his back though and I'm not sure about the bite on Suave's shoulder." He stated.
And I just remembered a vampire bit me...
He looked up at me. "Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine, I honestly just remembered about the bite." I chuckled slightly.
"The burn kills." Fallacy whined.
Everyone burst out laughing while Fallacy looked unamused.
"It does though!" He whined even more.
"You sound like such a kid!" I laughed.
"Says Mr "I forgot a vampire bit me"!" He stated.
"Yeah, at least I'm not complaining about it like a kid!" We laughed even harder.
"Oh shut up." He muttered, pouting.
Fallacy can be such a kid sometimes!
