Chapter 10

Paige POV

All throughout the day I missed New York. Lexi was not only in my math but also in lunch and my anatomy class. At the end of the day I'm dragged by Marina.

Marina: "come on dad is waiting for us!"

We get home and I walk through the door with the dog trooper attacking me with kisses and I up to the pink I fessed room and I saw I had a text from my boyfriend, Mark

Mark: "hey baby"

Me: "hi what's up"

Mark: "well I was wondering what you were doing this weekend cause I don't have college and I don't have work"

Me: "well idk I'll have to ask Matt and Laurie"

Mark: "I can't wait to see you., God I miss your body 😜"

Me: "stop"

As I was about to press send when someone called my name for dinner

Me: "I'll be right there" I pressed send.

As we sat at the dinner table I shake my leg nervously.

Matthew: "so how was everyone's day"

Marina: "it was really really good"

Laurie: "Paige how was your day?"

Me: I was playing with my peas on my plate debating how to ask if my boyfriend tar they have never met come over. "Huh oh sorry it was ok"

Matthew: "did you make any friends?"

Me: "uh yeah kinda"

Laurie: "ahh what is her name?"

Me: "Lexi"

Laurie: "oh Matt I bought our tickets for this week-"

Me: "can my boyfriend come over this weekend?"

Laurie: "end"

Matthew: "what's his name?"

Me: "Mark"

Matthew: " I'll think about it"

Nicholas: "we all know what that means."

• after dinner, I decided to ask why Mark can't come over.

Me: "hi um can I ask you something?"

Matthew: "I actually wanted to talk to you."

Me: "why don't you want Mark coming over?"

Matthew: "a. I don't know him b. He will be in my house and c. You're my daughter"

Me: "I'm 17. I can handle myself"

Matthew: "I don't-"

Me: "I mean all we will do is watch movies trust me I'm not sexually active"

Matthew: "great wasn't thinking about that before but i am now"

Laurie: "Matthew can you come here"

Matthew POV

Laurie: "let him come"

Me: "he is a boy we don't know. And she's a little girl"

Laurie: "Paige is 17. Almost 18, let him come over. When has she asked us for anything?"

After that little talk I walked over to Paige who looked kinda pissed

Me: "I'm so going to regret this I want to meet him. I want his number."

Paige: "oh my god are you serious?!" She was jumping up and down and hugged me, and a smile appeared on her face. I stared at her

Paige: "what?"

Me: "you have your moms smile"

Paige: "really?"

Me: "You should smile more"

Paige: "thank you so much"

Me: "thank Laurie"

Paige: "thank you"

Laurie: " you welcome sweetie and your father is right you should smile more."

Paige: "I'm going to go call him"

at the top of the steps and shouts Paige: "THANK YOU!!"

Paige POV

as I found out that Mark was going to stay over I ran upstairs and called him

Me: "hey"

Mark: "hey what did they say?"

Me: "oh ya know they said YES"

Mark: "no fucking way"

Me: "his wife talked him into it.

Mark: "I'll start packing love you baby"

Me: "uh huh bye"

Mark POV *sorry I'm changing POVs a lot*

As I hung up the phone I laid back down

Girl: "who was that?"

Mark: " my "girlfriend" but don't worry Sarah I'm going to break it off"

Sarah: "promise?"

Mark: "of course it's just ya know her mom was just killed"

Sarah: "when are going to?"

Me: "I'm seeing her this weekend"

Sarah: "break it off"

Mark: "babe you know me so well"

As she laid back in bed I mumbled "I'm go to have sex with her first.
