Paige POV
After about a week of meeting Shawn's parents I decide that Shawn needs to meet Matt. I go downstairs and see Matt drinking some coffee
Matt: "hey kiddo what's up?"
Me: "hey okay when are both of you free?" Looking at both Matt and Laurie
Matt: "well I don't have to go into work this week."
Laurie: "and I don't have any cases so I'm good. May I ask why?"
Me: "just be ready tonight at 6, please?"
Laurie: "OH MY GOD! I know what this is"
Matt: "what?"
Laurie: "YESSSS"
5:30 comes along and I decide to leave and go to Shawn's. I get to Shawn's rather quickly. I start running to his door
Shawn: "hey honey what's up?" Me: "how does chicken and rice sound?" He looks confused but then he gets a smile on his face. He leans down and kisses me. We leave and I go into my car and he gets in the passenger
Shawn: "wow this is weird"
Me: "I know tell me about it" we start to drive and I can see Shawn looks a little tense so I reach over and grab his hand and squeeze it. We stop at a red light and I look at him
Me: "hey! It's going to be okay."
Shawn: "okay your right. Just be myself"
Me: "yeah see that's the spirit. Oh and be careful about Matt, he has a hummer. And that thing oh honey watch out" his eyes go big "I'm kidding Shawn. Not about the hummer but about watching out. Don't let the tattoos and muscular body scare you, he's literally a teddy bear" Shawn's hand gets tighter
Shawn: "ha ha yeah" --does Shawn have to worry about Matt?
