Chapter 98

Paige POV

Almost a week later I haven't talked to Shawn since he told me that he was going to New York. I'm sitting on the couch when I hear a car door close and I decide to check it out.

I open the door and see Shawn, I want to just want to go back inside and pretend he didn't see me but he's already seen me. I walk out and cross my arms. We meet up to each other and Shawn looks really annoyed

Shawn: "you wanna tell me why your mad at me?" Me: "I'm not." He looks at me sternly

Shawn: "Paige don't lie to me. Why are you annoyed at me? Is it cause of New York? Cause if it is I won't go." Me: "NO GO! It's fine I don't care." Shawn: "what the hell Paige! What is your deal?" Me: "MY deal? Nothing is my deal. Just go to New York!"

Shawn: "and here I am trying to make up with you before I get on a plane" he lets out a sigh

Me: "make up? Shawn we weren't even fighting!" Shawn: "you don't want to tell me what's really wrong fine. I'm leaving. I'll see you when I see you" he starts to walk away

Me: "Shawn" I whisper just loud enough for him to hear. He looks at me and I don't say a thing and he huffs and drives off. After he drives off I kneel on the cemented driveway and cry thinking I broke up with Shawn.

--uh oh....why won't Paige tell Shawn what's on her mind??
