Paige POV
After telling Lexi I was dating Shawn she can't stop staring at me
Me: "what are you staring at me for??" She shakes her head in disappointment
Lexi: "can't believe you've been dating for 2 maybe 3 months and didn't tell me"
Me: "I'm sorry I just, I wanted to stay in the bubble. Didn't want attention" her face changes
Lexi: "are you scared that he's gonna be like Mark?" I shrug
Me: "I don't think so. I just...I don't want to be hurt again." Lexi hugs me
Lexi: "he won't hurt you, yes he's a good guy but also cause I'll kill him if he does" I laugh
Me: "yeah get in line"
after my talk with Lexi about not telling her we started talking about boys and how Alex is WAY different than Shawn. For instance Alex doesn't hold the door for her, car door, restaurant door. He doesn't look at her the way Shawn does at me, if that's a good thing I don't know. He spoils her, but not the way Shawn does, Alex buys her jewelry and extensive things, Shawn buys dinner, lunch, coffee. Alex is very physical and Shawn isn't at least that I know of.
