Paige POV
Shawn and I are laying down, I'm caressing his hair when I hear the question I've been avoiding
Shawn: "why did you leave?"
I caress his hair more and think
Shawn: "hello?" He looks up at me.
Me: "I was scared okay..."
Shawn: "what do you mean?" He gets off my chest and sits up, bringing me up with him, realizing I'll have to tell him. I let out a sigh
Me: "I run...when things get hard I run." He doesn't speak and I feel like I'm about to cry.
Me: "I just thought me leaving you would hurt less than you leavening me!!" I start to cry and he brings me to a tight hug
Me: "but it hurts so bad oh my god, it hurts." I sob. He cups my cheeks
Shawn: "I would never leave you. Paige I love you with my whole heart." I wipe my tears away and get the courage to tell him my past
Me: "my mom...I never said goodbye" I start to sob again and he brings me back to his chest caressing my back
Shawn: "shhh baby it's okay breathe."
Me: "I TOLD HER I HATED HER" weakly hitting his chest
Shawn: "hey hey let it out" he caresses my back and I cry even more.
Shawn: "I'm not leaving you ever!" He takes my face out of his chest and holds my face in his hands
Shawn: "but you have to promise me something"
Me: "anything." I manage to say between my cries
Shawn: "when anything is wrong and when I say anything I mean ANYTHING tell me,please. We are supposed to help each other, supposed to comfort each other"
Me: "okay...but you have to promise to tell me if I'm doing anything wrong" I whisper
Shawn: "I will baby I promise"
kissing him tenderly and we lay back down
As we drift into sleep I hear the 3 words that I love hearing from him
Shawn: "I love you." He says with his arms around my waist
