Chapter 60

Paige POV

The next day at school

Lexi: "okay what happened?"

Me: "nothing yet."

Lexi: "Paige! You need to go today!"

Me: "okay okay I will!" I go home and just go over what I'll say to Shawn, and see its 9 already

Me: "hey Matt can I take the car?...to uh lexi's. For a project?"

Matt: "yeah just be home by 11"

I leave the house and go to the address, not knowing if it's really his house cause there are no cars in the driveway.

its 10:30 and I'm about to leave when I see a car come into view and it's a jeep in the pouring rain. I see Shawn get out of his car, I run up to him and push him forward

Shawn: "what the-"

Shawn POV

I turn around and see Paige before I can finish my sentence she slaps me

Paige: "asshole." I see a tear go down her face, even though it's raining. Both getting soaking wet

Paige: "you kiss me and then don't call me. WHY?"

Me: "BECAUSE I REALIZED THAT I CANT HAVE YOU. Do you know how much it hurts? Where someone you like you can't have?"

Paige: "why can't you have me?"

Me: "well let's see your NOT SINGLE!"

Paige: "what are you talking about!"

Me: "don't play dumb Paige! I know you and Matt are-"

Shawn POV

our lips collide my hands go to her waist and I realize what I'm doing and I want to stop because I know it's wrong but she puts her arms around my neck, then I lose control I pick her up and place her on my jeep and we kiss in the rain like a sappy love movie. The world feels like it stopped,like slow mo. It's just me and her in the rain. I've never felt more alive in my entire life. I kiss her and she kisses me. Her lips taste sweet. I kiss her again and again. Finally we stop. Raining hitting our face like the romantic movies.

Putting her forehead on my chest, panting and whispering

Paige: "there is no one else"

Me: "tell that to your boyfriend Matt" She looks up and was about to kiss me again when she stops looking confused

Paige: "boyfriend?" She laughs

Paige: "Shawn, Matt-" I cut her off

Me: "I know he's your boyfri-" she kisses me putting her hands back around my neck

Paige: "dad."

Me: "dad?"

Paige: "dad"

Me: "well now I feel stupid." Scratching the back of my neck

Paige: "why?!" Looking at me with her big eyes

Me: "because I almost let you slip away."

Paige: "now you have me." Our foreheads touching, my hands never leaving her waist

Me: "and I'm NEVER let you go"

--WAS IT WORTH IT??? Kinda screamed while I wrote this. Hope you like it. The chapters will get a lot more streamy and PG-13 or so...
