Chapter 12

After I heard the door slam and a car drive off I ran down the stairs and locked the door and slide down the door and cried. I didn't know what to do, I just wanted my mom.

Me: "what do I do, WHAT DO I FUCKING DO!" I sobbed and I did what I do best and not tell anyone and keep my emotions to myself, I just went back to the room and laid there as if nothing happened.

*skip to Sunday*

Laurie POV

Matthew: "we're home!"

Marina: "mom dad I missed you"

Matthew: "we missed you too honey where is Paige? Did Mark leave?"

Nicholas: "I know she's upstairs and I didn't see Mark after Friday night"

Me: "oh no"

Matthew: "what?!"

Me: "she's probably heartbroken"

Matthew: "if he hurt my child I'm going to kill him"

Me: "easy there tiger" I walk upstairs to her room hoping I can help.

Me: "hi sweetie how was your weekend with Mark?"

Paige: "oh he uh had to go home early he wasn't feeling well. He went home Saturday"

Me: I knew she was lying "you know you can tell me anything right"

Paige:" yeah I'm fine I just don't feel well"

Me: "I'll make you some soup"

*skip to school also it's Paige's POV*

really wanting to confront Lexi about what happened, even though I didn't want to admit that she was right.

Me: "hey"

Lexi: "hi...listen I'm sorry about Friday I shouldn't have said that"

Me: "no no you had the right to I mean you are my friend right?"

Lexi: "no"

Me: "oh"

Lexi: "we're best friends, so how was your weekend with mark?"

Me: "well for the fact that he tried to have sex and I found out he cheating and did I mention that he slapped me?"

Lexi: "are you fucking serious? I'm going to kill him let's go"

Me: "Lexi he's in New York"

Lexi: "ok so we can drive there let's fucking go!"

Me: "just leave it and I said yeah but I mean I'm glad I found out"

Lexi: "omg does your parents know?"

Me: "uh my dad and Laurie his wife has no clue and I might keep it that way."

Lexi: "no you should tell them." Me: "no my father will literally run him over with a bus and then torture him. Remember he's in the military"

Lexi: "oh shit yeah I forgot yeah don't do that."

As the bell rang we went to class
