Shawn POV

She kissed me on the cheek but a kiss is a kiss. Holy crap! Wait what if she meant it as a friend way....yep she definitely meant it as friend

I drive home with complete heart eyes. I walk through the door and have my back on the door

Mum: "well hello...earth to Shawn."

Me: "huh oh sorry mum"

Dad: "how was your day?"

Me: "uh well I went to a restaurant with Paige and then I went ice skating....with Paige."

Mum: "oh wow that seems like fun"

Me: "well when a friend is in stress I help"

Aaliyah: "right friend" using air quotes on friends

Me: "yes friends, well anyway I'll be upstairs."

Mum: "alight dinner will be ready soon."

As I head in my room and plop on my bed I take out my phone and call Matt but get his voicemail so I decide to call jack j

Jack: "hey buddy what's poppin?"

Me: "hey okay there is this girl and like we are "friends" and she kissed me on the cheek."

Jack: "yoooo dude this girl like you but doesn't want to admit it."

Me: "how do you know?"

Jack g: "oh yeah definitely she likes you, some girls are weird they want to take things slow...unlike Madison."

Me: "didn't need to know that dude. But what should I do?"

Jack j: "definitely still see her! Like be friends for a little while but then go in for the plunge."

Me: "what if she rejects me?"

Jack j: "a girl reject Shawn? Must not be a girl"

Me: "she's not like other girls. Like a month ago she thought I was a stuck up celebrity."

Jack: "dude time. Patience is key."

Me: "what if she's just doing this cause she feels bad."

Jack g: "dude if you don't I'm coming to Canada and beating your ass." I chuckle

Mum: "SHAWN AALIYAH DINNER!"

Me: "alright guys I gotta go thanks for the help."

I sit at the dinner table thinking about what Jack and jacks advice.
