Paige POV
I get to NY and settle my stuff with my moms friend, Jane and her daughter Mecca. I don't eat and I'm even more shy than usual
Jane: "sweetie you have to eat" I shake my head no and push the food aside
Me: "I'm not hungry, I'm just tired"
Jane: "All you do is sleep." I go and lay on the couch when I hear a familiar voice, Shawn on the radio
Radio: "and this is Shawn Mendes new song Mercy!" It starts to play and I start to remember all the good times we had
Me: "hey can you turn that down" I ask Mecca but she doesn't. I walk to my room putting my pillow to my ear hoping not to hear him sing. I don't hear him singing I hear his laugh. I start to cry
Me: "AHAHAAH" I scream and start to sob. Jane comes running in
Jane: "hey honey, what's wrong?" Rubbing my back remembering that Shawn used to do that
Jane: "it's him isn't it?" I don't say anything except for cry more
Jane: "Paige, honey talk to him. that's how things get better, by talking about it!" I look up
Me: "I SLAPPED HIM, and said I hated him"
Jane: "Find a way."
About 2 days later I still can't get Shawn out of my head my heart hurts but why? It was only puppy love?
