Chapter 13

Shenaya

I woke up hearing someone whispering my name.what the hell wrong with these two , always waking me up from my sleep. My dreamland always filled with sh*ts.

Someone shaked my shoulder while saying " Damn it Shenaya , wake up" I groaned and opened my eyes slowly.

"Go away. I'm tired. Give me more 30 minutes " I said while slapping those hands.

"Shenayaaaaaaa . Wake up" I heard Cherreen's voice .

I remembered that Ashley was sick last night.I quickly opened my eyes.

"What is it? Is Ashley sick again" I asked her .

"No. She is sleeping . Shenaya someone is here" She whispered to me while hugging my hands.

"What? What's the time now? " I asked her.

I got panicked. It's still night .

"It's 12.45 Shenaya. Someone is outside and he is keep ringing the bell . What should we do now? I'm scared " Cherreen whispered.

"What? Did you see that person? " I asked her quietly. I heard bell ringing again.

"No. I didn't check. I woke up because of the ringing. I came to your room after that. Who will be here at this time ? "She asked while hugging my hand.

"Let's just look and decide should we call police later okay " I said to her.

I think something is wrong with my nights in New York. I didn't have any peacefull nights lately .

We looked outside from the window. But when I see the person makes my worries fly away.

It's Ian.

What? What is he doing here in this hour ?

"Hey Cherreen! it's Ian . Don't be afraid. " I told her while smiling .

She looked really afraid.

"You sure. " she asked me in a unsure voice.

"Yep . Don't worry. You can stay inside. I'll just check out. " I said to her.

I quickly unlocked the door and went outside.

When Ian saw me he quickly came to me and hugged me tightly.

"I'm sorry for not coming earlier . Are you okay now? Did you go to a hospital ? I'm sorry again for not being in New York when you were sick. Joanna was worried. I just came to check. You didn't answer your phone either. We were so worried. " he said after breaking the hug.

"What? Wait Ian ,I'm not sick idiot . It's Ashley my roommate. Did you come all the way for that? Sorry my phone's battery died in the evening. I didn't bother to charge it. " I told him disbelieving.

"You are not sick. I thought you are sick " he said while ruffling his hair.

"You only read sick part right? You hurried here after only reading the first part of the text . You sure you are a doctor? I pity for your patients and Joe. You came here at 12.45 . Damn it Ian. What if you get in a accident or someone report you for ringing the bell at this hour ?. Thank god you didn't bring Joe too" I started to nag him.

He smiled uncomfortably and said " Sorry sis, I was busy with operations. And I didn't have much time to read it. I hurried here after seeing it. Joanna was mad at me because I didn't bring her. I'm alive safe sound right? That's only matters. I'm sorry for showing up at this hour"

"It's okay. Don't trouble yourself too much about me Ian. I told you and Joe before I'm a big girl now. I'll ask you both if I need something " I said to him .
