(Ali's P.O.V)

Ecstatic is an understatement to describe what I'm feeling; so far Dylan and I have beat Ava and Elliot at every game we've played. Be it the Ring Toss or Bucket Ball, up until now we've won ourselves over four prizes and we've only been here for about a half hour.

Watching Elliot sulk and mope after each loss was also an added bonus, I don't think I've ever been so entertained while watching someone bask in their incompetence.

"You guys are cheating. I don't know how or why, but you are. I've got my eye on you, Vincent. I'm pretty sure you're the mastermind of this whole ordeal." Elliot says petulantly, glaring at both Dylan and me.

"Well it's not my fault you guys are losers," I provoke, earning myself a glare from Ava.

"Ok, this is the second time I've been insulted today. If anything, you're all losers. No offence, Dylan." She says.

"None taken," he smiles, running a hand through his hair. He glances down at me for a second before looking around us. He's been doing that a lot since we got here, I wonder what's eating him. He looks sort of nervous.

"How about this for a tie breaker--"

"Tie breaker?" I laugh, cutting Elliot off. "There is no tie, you've lost every single game so far."

He mutters something under his breath before fixing a forced smile onto his face. He does not look pleased. "Winner takes all." He corrects himself, "we're going to ride on that bad boy." He nods his head towards a ride with the word Pendulum branded across it. I guess the name says it all, but instead of just rocking from side to side; this ride goes the full three-sixty.

"Whoever gets sick first, loses." Elliot proposes, looking at Dylan and I expectantly.

"Babe, do you really think that's even safe?" Ava mutters questioningly.

"Who cares about safety? I'm in it to win it." Elliot Waters is possibly the most competitive person I've come across in my life. He's even worse than me, and that's saying something. He just won't take no for an answer, consequently making him a sore loser - which is why I enjoy beating him so much.

That and the satisfaction I get from all the awesome prizes I've been winning.

"Alright," I agree. "Game on."

We all trek towards Pendulum and pay for our tickets. Of course, like everything else we've had to pay for today, Dylan insisted I let him pay for me. I agreed reluctantly, but little does he know I'll be slipping the money he wasted on me today back into his wallet later on.

As the ride starts to move, I feel a gentle breeze whip across my face. I glance over at Dylan only to see that he's already looking at me, a huge grin plastered on his handsomely boyish face. Once we pick up speed, some girls a few seats away from me start to scream and I can't help but laugh loudly at how scared they're getting. We're not even going that--

"Holy shit," I mutter as the ride really picks up speed and we're launched into the air, getting closer and closer to the full three-sixty spin. The wind becomes harsher as it whips around all of my hair and causes my eyes to water. "Holy motherfucking shit," I repeat as we go higher and higher; faster and faster.

At this point, it's safe to say everyone on this ride is scared shitless. Mainly girls are screaming their heads off, even Ava, who is always so brave is screaming like there's no tomorrow. Me? Well, as we move even faster, I can't help but fear for my life.

"We're all gonna die. For the love of God, we're all gonna fucking die!" I scream at the top of my lungs, my words dying with me as I doubt anyone else can hear me over the sound of the ear-piercing screams being projected by people around me. "I'm too young to die. I've just had my eighteenth birthday, I-- shit," the ride gets closer and closer to the spin, we're now being swung back and forth, ever so gradually reaching the full spin as we're tilted and turned upside down.
