The next morning I wake up to the sound of birds, the sweet smell of flowers, and someone HONKING THEIR HORN AT 6:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!

"Ugh, come on people." I groan.

Can't anyone just let my sleep peacefully until my alarm goes off? I roll over, away from my window and feel something's off. I crack my eyes open and see two red orbs staring right back at me.

"Gah, Stitches! What the heck are you doing?!" I shout, jerking back, almost falling off the bed, but luckily catching myself.

"Hehe, I just wanted to wake you up, silly. You're alarm didn't go off and I thought we were going to be late." I groan.

'Why didn't my alarm go off? Just something else I'll have to fix.'

I pick up my phone to see that I had forgotten to set my alarm. I groan again.

I must've been so tired that I forgot to do so last night.

"Wait, what time is it?" I sit up.

          "Hmmmm... 8:45." Juuzou says matter-of-factly.

"What! We were supposed to be at CCG over an hour ago!" I scramble out of bed and begin to get an outfit ready.

"Oops." Juuzou says, scratching his neck, rocking back and forth on his feet.

I sigh before pushing him towards the door.

          "Alright, get out. I'm changing."

"So?" Juuzou says with a mischievous smirk. "There's nothing to be ashamed of right, (y/n)-chan~"

"Tch, get out, pervert." I scold before pushing him out the door. I hear him laugh as I begin to change. I roll my eyes, but can't help but smile a little.

Once I'm done, I race out to find Juuzou eating a donut.

"Where'd you get that?" I ask.

"I woke up extra early so I went out and got some. You want one?" He offers.

           "Sure. Thanks, Juuzou." I say.

"No problem, (y/n)-chan." He says, smiling sweetly.

"Alright, let's go." I grab his wrist and drag him out the door.

We race down the sidewalk but suddenly I'm forced to stop. I look back at Juuzou who's staring at the alleyway we found the car in yesterday.

"C'mon, Juuzou, we don't have time for this. We have an investigation coming up, not to mention loads of paperwork, and theres the possibility that you'll be you're quinque today-"

Suddenly, all of yesterdays frustration came flooding back like a waterfall as I remembered the large amount of work that had to be done at the office itself.

"Look, (y/n)-chan, it's the car from yesterday." He says, jumping up and down.

"Yes, I know, now c'mon, we don't have time for this." I pull away, but he stands his ground somehow.

I look over at him with a pleading expression, which he misses because his gaze is still focused on the car. The cars engine was started and it slowly started to roll out of the alley. As it came out of the shadow, Juuzou's hand (which was still connected to mine) squeezed my hand.
