Chapter 6.5: Runaway

~Stella's POV~

I have told them everything. I have told the little twins about what happened in LA. Tammy backed me up with other information that has been told. We had told them already, and they got upset.

"N-no!" Luke exclaimed as he denied. "It's not true! They can't be gone!"

"Mommy can't be gone like Daddy!" Lace added in. "It can't be true!!!"

"I'm sorry, but it's all true... However, it's just presumed for now." I told them.

"We never even get to see our dad!" Luke spat as he frowned.

"Yeah!" Lacey said in agreement.

"And what's next!? Are we gonna get attacked SOON!?"

"Luke, please." I soothed him.

"I'm not even surprised if they kidnapped us." Lacey said as she rolled her eyes.

"Lacey, don't even bring that up!" I pointed at her in a scolding finger. "I... I don't even want to remember that-"

"Uh... Stella?" Tammy spoke. "I don't think Dillon's coming up."

"What?" I turned to her, "What do you mean he's not coming up?"

"I dunno. It's been twenty minutes since I called him." she said.

"I'll go check on him..." I told her.

"Listen, Lil' Twins..." Tammy looked down at the twins. "I know it's hard without having Mom and Dad around. But now, life has changed for now. Stella and I are in charge of the whole house, and we'll be having some company to support us, so we won't be alone... Okay?"

The twins looked down at the ground, then they looked back up.

"Understood?" Tammy spoke.

"Yeah." the twins responded, which then they both headed to their room.

~Tam's POV~

The Lil' Twins went upstairs to their room, feeling upset. After we heard a door being slammed shut, Stella and I turned to each other.

"Man... I felt bad for them." I told her. "Such a young age..."

"I know. Well, it's very odd that it sounds familiar somehow..." Stella said.

"Yeah..." I nodded a bit, "Well, anyway. Should we go check on Dillon?"

"That's what we're going to do now." Stella said as we went downstairs.

"I'm not sure if he knows anything about it..." I spoke while following her from behind. "He hasn't been answering since."

"That was odd."

When we came into the basement, it was dark. So with that, when Stella flinched the lights on, Dillon was gone.

"He's... He's not here." I spoke as I looked around the basement.

"What? I thought he was sleeping last night!" Stella spat.
