"I don't want to sit out here!" You objected as you tried to read your textbook while your friend dragged you to the Lacrosse field to watch the guy she had a crush on fail to get the ball in the net.
"Hey!" Someone called and you looked up to see Brett Talbot grinning at you. "Smart girl, didn't think you'd come to watch us."
"I didn't." You sighed and he chuckled before realising you were serious.
"It was nice talking to you." He said with a big grin as you rolled your eyes.
"I regret the words we have already spoken." You muttered back to him and he shook his head as he shoved his helmet on and ran away.
"He likes you!" Your friend giggled and you groaned as you rolled your eyes."
