Being on the lacrosse team was a pain. Especially at christmas. Brett had a particular nickname that irritated you. "ELF! Pay attention." He growled.
"Call me elf one more time!" You threatened. Stopping with the ball in your stick while glaring at him.
"Come on it's christmas, lighten up." He shoved you toward the goal but you lost it, shoving him as hard as you could before scoring the winning goal.
You turned to see a dazed Brett on the floor, helmet several feet away from him.
