Tumingin ako sa bawat paligid ng kwarto. Nagulo na ang mga kama, Ang mga unan. Pati narin ang mga naiwang gamit para lang makahanap ng kahit maliit na ebidensya. Pero wala kahit na isa
I roamed around the room for a bit. It was quiet spacious for a room under the stairs. Kulay puti ang kwarto at mayroong pitong kama na iba iba ang dekorasyon.
Napaurong ako nang maramdaman ang matalas at nakakaiyak na sakit sa aking ulo.
Tinignan ko ang orasan, It's been almost an hour and a half of me investigating the room. Sobrang sakit ng ulo ko at parang hindi ko na maigalaw ang nga braso ko. Unti untibg namamanhid ang buong katawan ko, Umiikot ang paligid.
Iba narin ang pakiramdam ng tiyan ko.
Fear wrapped around my mind because of the fact that this was all happening suddenly, Without anything I can think of to cause it.
I blinked multiple times when my vision slowly started to blur and darken.
"Ano bang nangyayari sa akin...?"
Pakiramdam ko naman ay nanlalambot na ang tuhod ko. Dahil dito, Hindi ko na napigilang bumagsak sa sahig.
"Chain? Aiden!" I tried to call for help but I just blacked out.
I woke up in a white room with a small tube attached into my arm, The strong smell of alcohol and medicine gave me a hint of where I was, the hospital.
I tried to move but I cant. I looked over at the glass pane. Chain saw me and immediately tried to get in.
Aiden and Chain both ran towards me.
"Thank God, You"re awake..." Chain held my hand.
"Ano bang nangyari?" I asked them. My body was feeling a little less numb than a minute ago.
"Dalawang araw ka nang walang malay, Detective. Kamusta pakidamdam mo?" Sabi ni Aiden.
My eyebrows narrowed when I realized thst I had been unconsious for that long.
"Why?"
"We found huge traces of Strychnine on the air conditioner in the maid's room. Lumabas na ang autopsy ng mga katulong, Yun din ang kinamatay nila. " Chain explained.
"That's why I couldnt find any murder weapon."
"The doctors said if you stayed there for a few minutes more, You could've died."
"How's the case? May nahanap na ba kayo? Dalawang araw..." They looked at each other and sighed.
"We havent done anything... Hindi ka namin pwedeng iwanan." Tinignan ajo ni Chain.
"Oh... No, Hindi niyo na dapat ginawa iyon."
"Hon, I know you'll be mad. But we're dealing with a very fatal poison, We couldnt just leave you here. Paano kung may biglaang mangyari sa iyo? Really, I'd rather leave the case cold than to lose you. " Sabi ni Chain.
Pumasok ang doktor sa silid at binati kami.
"How long till I get out?" I didnt waste a second to ask him.
"Hindi ko pa sigurado, Miss Agustin. Kinakailangan pa nating ipadaan sa iba't ibang test ang jatawan at dugo mo para masiguradong walang naiwang bakas ng lason sa digestive track at respiratory system mo." Bumuntong hininga ako.
"Pero huwag kang magalala dahil mukha namang wala nam Wala ka naman sigurong nararamdaman na kahit anong sakit?" Tanong nito. Tumango nalang ako.
"Mabuti naman, That's a good sign. But we still need to be extra careful since it's Strychnine." He wrote something in his notes and bid us goodbye.
"We're not continuing the case." I shot a glare at Chain.
"What? Why?" I said, In an upset tone. He looked at me, Worried.
"Cause I said so, It's not safe anymore. Who knows what else is-" I cut him off.
"I got sent into a hospital, In a coma for two days because of Strychnine already, Dont you think all of that is a waste if I dont continue the case? The sacrifice is already made, What's the point?"
"Hindi mo siya mapipigilan, Chain. Pabayaan mo na." I looked at Aiden and nodded. Chain sighed in frustration.
"Fine... Pero huwag na tayong magaksaya ng oras. Kailangan mo ng pahinga.
"Yeah sure."
Natapos ang ilang oras nang paghihintay sa resulta ng nga test, Napagdesisyunan kong buksan ang telibisyon upang patakbuhin ang oras. Bumungad sa akin ang balita.
"And now for the weather! We've had a pretty good weather so far in Aurora. Since the last month, It's been sunny and quite warm outside. So we dont expect any storms.... "
The sound of the television slowly faded when I started realizing something. A scene flashed back in my head.
"Nasaan ka nitong nakaraang linggo?"
"As I said, I was at a business trip in Aurora."
"May pruweba ka bang maipe-presenta?" The clouds looked like it would rain any moment. Ang malas naman ng bakasyon niya.

"What was that Mhor?" Tanong ni Chain.
"That's a bit suspicious..." I said.
"Ang alin?" He asked again.
"Did any of the suspects talk about the death of the family?"
''I saw Daniel tweet about it. Last Monday."
"Anong araw ngayon?" I asked.
"Tuesday." Chain looked at me confused.
"Kumpleto na ba ang autopsy? Kailan ang unang namatay?"
"Last sunday, around four to six P.M."
"When did we start the case?"
"Sunday?" I stared at nothing as Im starting to think.
"The clouds looked like it would rain any moment."
"The stains looked like they were four to five days old. "
Monday to Sunday...
"Since the last month it's been sunny and quite warm"
"Wait... How did Daniel know about the murder last Monday? When reports came this sunday?" Chain asked. I smirked.
"Daniel Lucas is hiding something. "
