Demi had butterflies in her stomach as she thought back at the afternoon she spend with Harry. Looking down at the ring he had gotten for her as she felt spoiled. She never wanted him to spend money on her. The moment she had gotten home her dad had left a note, telling her that he was going to get groceries.
Knowing she had spend a good amount of time with Harry, that could be at any moment. She didn't know what to do with the ring. Her dad would start asking questions the moment he saw it. She didn't want to hide the ring, she didn't want to hide the fact that she was in love. She couldn't help but just smile from ear to ear. Going through her old jewelry as she was looking for a necklace that she didn't use. Finding one that has a small silver pencil on it. Her aunt had given it to her as she knew how she enjoy writing inside a journal. Heading to the place her dad keeps the tools as she tried to figure out how to break the small loop. After a couple of minutes of struggle she mange to break the hook. Smiling down at it as she dug into her pocket as she found the ring. Placing the ring inside the chain as she quickly put it on around her neck. Letting the chain fall down on her neck as she look down at the shinning ring.
Hearing a noise from outside the door as she quickly place it inside her shirt. Taking steps to the door as she made her way inside the house.

"Demi"

Hearing her dad's voice calm her. Walking towards him as he had a few bags in his hands. Smiling at him as she made her way to the door.

They cook dinner together as her dad play music in the background. They had made spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread. Talking about many topics as they would just jump around. Knowing that they aren't going to do anything tomorrow, Demi wasn't sure if she should see who's still in town.
Hanging out with Liam doesn't sound like a bad idea. Especially after how he help her to find Harry.

"Also before I forget to tell you. I got a call today from your school. It was your counsel, informing me that the fine arts director is going to be seeing each kid that they call back. It's going to be your second audition. And it will take place a week after you get back from break."

As her dad was talking Demi's eyes widen as she thought it would take longer for the second audition.

"They are going to let you sing three songs. They could all be covers or even originals.
I think you should cover purple rain by Prince. You use to sing that song for your mom and I on the 4th of July. It was really cute."

Her dad said as he smile at the memory. Getting up from the table as he walked pass her not before placing a kiss on top of her head. Demi smile up at him as she couldn't help but feel a warm sensation through her body.
Nodding her head at the memory.

"Yeah that was a good memory."

Demi whisper to herself as she turn to see her dad washing the dishes. Getting up as she walk towards him.

"I thought that the second audition was going to take place in March."

Demi said as her rested her body against the counter. Looking up at her as his eyes were on the dishes.

"It was but they move it up. The mayor wants to have all of the students in listed by the end of next month. So by the first week of February you should be walking down in the hallways of the fine arts school."

Her dad said as Demi only nodded her head understanding. Letting out a cool before leaving the kitchen. Her dad didn't notice until he was going to tell her something about the school but he notice that she had already left.
