I almost feel bad for Dylan in this part but he does deserve it-

Chapter 12

Dylan lay on the grass, pain overtaking him. My heart beat wildly as Wes stood protectively in front of me. It was as if by seeing Wes now, I knew i'd be okay. My heart swelled as my love for my boyfriend seemed to grow even more.

Dylan glared up at him. "Couldn't you have waited a little longer?" Dylan groaned out. Wes's eyes blazed with rage. He grabbed Dylan by his collar.

"Don't ever touch her again," Wes growled out, hitting Dylan against the ground. Wes's entire body was rigid, his strong arms locking Dylan in a deathly grip.

Dylan bit his lip as his face contorted in pain. There were definitely going to be bruises on Dylan's arm by the time this was over. I felt my heart constrict as I watched helplessly on the side-lines.

An unexpected smirk formed on Dylan's bleeding lips, catching me off guard. He smiled languidly, lewdly almost. Wes paused, though he didn't dare lose the livid look casted over his striking features. Everything seemed to stop.

"It's not my fault she'd rather kiss me than you," Dylan taunted. That did it. A look of shock overtook Wes before he struck Dylan in his jaw.

Dylan gaped as did I. Wes's breathing was ragged. "I-," Dylan spoke first. His face was frozen. It was as if none of the pain from the blow had affected Dylan just yet, even as a large bruise began forming on his freckled face.

Wes stood up straightly, his expression unreadable as he stared down. Dylan scrambled to get up. "I'm sorry," Dylan mumbled. Light tears were slowly forming in his light brown eyes. And even through what he had done, I couldn't help but feel bad for him. He just looked so vulnerable.

"Go." Wes commanded. When Dylan didn't move, Wesley's eyes hardened. "Go!" He said louder. Dylan inhaled sharply before running back to the entrance.

I stood there, astonished. Before I could process what had just happened, Wes pulled me into a tight hug. I was surrounded by him, his tantalizing scent, his strong arms. I couldn't move, I didn't want to move. I finally looked up at him. His azure eyes were full to the brim with anguish. "Is it true?" He choked out. "What?" I asked in my astounded state.

"Did you... did you want to kiss Dylan?" His voice was sharper at the end. I shook my head vehemently. "No! Of course not! He forced me, Wes. I didn't want to. I only want you! I will only ever want you!"

His face flushed and he breathed out, pulling me tighter against his toned chest. Then, he rested his forehead against mine. My heart hammered, my body growing weak as he held onto me tighter.

"I'll never forgive him for what he did," he growled against my lips, eliciting shudders from within me. "Then erase it. Replace what he did." I didn't sound like myself. Everything about this was entirely surreal.

It didn't take him long at all to understand what I meant. In a second his lips came softly on mine. I grew weak, though he held onto me, pressing his mouth harder on mine. It felt perfect.
