Patton was really starting to get worried about Virgil and Roman's relationship, they got into constant fights and sometimes avoided each other for days on end Patton really wanted them to talk things out and make up, but he couldn't face them on his own, he needed help, and fast.

He searched around for Logan with a wide excited smile on his face. “Logan! I really need your help.” He called out and skipped off to his room where Logan was sleeping at his work desk, when Patton entered he bolted up and drew in a startled breath, “I'm sorry! Logan, I really need your help.” Patton went up to him and rubbed his tense shoulders. “What is it?” Logan asked and rose from his seat so that he could console the now overly concerned trait.

Patton held himself and shifted his gaze. “W-well, Roman and Virgil are having some couple problems so I thought that maybe we could...” He trailed off and idly looked up at the confused logical trait. “Maybe we can use...Picani?” Patton finished and waited for Logan's response, and Logan, who was still half asleep, finally processed what Patton was asking for and groaned in response. “Must we use Picani?” He frowned. “I'm not really in the mood or shape to intermingle at the moment.” He said.

Patton pouted and tugged at his arm. “Please Logan, I swear it'll only be for a moment!” He begged as his bottom lip jutted out making him look like a sad puppy and Logan just couldn't resist the pout, he growled and ran a hand through his disheveled hair. “Alright, but please try to detain yourself, the last time we uhm 'fused' you were the one taking the upper hand. I didn't want to say anything but the people looked rather concerned and a bit uncomfortable.” Logan warned, Patton nodded eagerly not fully taking his words to heart.

Logan sighed already not liking how things were going and got into his position, this part he didn't mind, Patton skipped over to the end of the room and then excitedly ran up to Logan when he offered his hand. Patton greatly took his hand, Logan twirled him before he caught him in his arms and dipped him, Patton giggled and wrapped his arms around his neck giving him a wide smile before he pressed their foreheads together, and then with a questionable flash of light, they became one.

The fusion looked around the room with wide happy eyes. “Oh my!—don't get distracted—of course!” Picani fixed their pink tie and straightened out their coat before they made their way to the living room where Roman and Virgil sat on opposite sides of the couch, both were avoiding each other, Picani frowned at the sight of the couple in distress and clapped their hands catching their attention. “What the?—” Virgil looked at the fusion with a look of curiosity. “Who the heck are you and what do you want?” He asked in a warning tone. “Well, curioser and curioser if I do say so.” Picani smiled. “I'm Dr. Picani it's a pleasure to meet you two.” They waved, Roman gasped. “Patton? Logan? Is that you!?” He screeched.

Picani tilted their head to the side. “I'm not them, and they're not me.” They stated. “Then what are you?” Virgil asked curiously. “An experience.” They grinned from ear to ear. “And hopefully a good one, now enough about me I need you both to sit on the couch! We're running out of time, and time is money money money, just kidding don't get all krabby.” Picani laughed and grabbed a chair from the kitchen and dragged it to the living room placing it in front of the couch the couple now sat on together side by side.

They plopped themselves on the seat and started. “Now I was summoned because I was informed that you two have not been coping well with each other which is damaging your relationship.” Picani sounded more serious, Logan was now somewhat in control, if that was even possible. Roman and Virgil looked at each other for a split second before they looked away. “It's nothing.." Virgil mumbled and crossed his arms.

Roman sighed. “You know what? This is a good opportunity to say what I want,” he started. “Look Pikachu, or whatever your name is, the problem is that Virgil doesn't want to spend time with me as much anymore.” He said, Virgil flinched but kept quiet. “I see, is there a reason as to why you don't Virgil?” Picani asked the weary trait. “It's just...sometimes he hangs out with these amazing people and, I can never be as amazing as him or them. I'm...I'm scared of embarrassing him in front of his friends, and when that happens I feel like I'm not meant to be with him.” He protectively held himself.

Roman placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “Virgil, I never knew you felt like that...” Roman frowned, he always jumped to conclusions and never gave Virgil a chance talk, he was the one to blame. “I'm so sorry Virgil, I never wanted to you to feel that way.” Picani smiled. “You guys are simply meant to be.” They giggled, Roman laughed and Virgil scoffed with a roll of his eyes. “Whatever," he grumbled. “By the way, what kind of experience are you? I mean you handle love quarrels, do you even know love?” At that Picani froze.

“I—no we—are—I can't do this—no! We're okay!—I can't!” The fusion breathed unsteadily. “We—you—have to calm down!” And then with a sudden flash the fusion was gone and left behind a worried Logan and Patton. “Logan?” Patton rushed to his aid. “Are you hurt? Is everything okay?” He asked anxiously and took hold of his hands, Logan turned away from him. “I'm fine.” He murmured. “You're not fine, what happened? Everything was going well until then.” Patton frowned.

Logan sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “It was never going to last Patton, I told you I wasn't in the mood.” He explained. “I'm sorry Logan, I didn't mean to hurt you...” Patton let go of his hands. “I just felt so complete with you, I've never felt so happy, but I never wanted to take advantage of it. I wanted you to feel what I felt and I thought if we fused one last time you would be able to feel it too, but I pushed you too hard.” His heart felt like it was being weighed down. “I really do enjoy being with you, fused or not, I'm always happy even if we're not talking to each other. Your presence is enough to keep me going, it's okay if you don't fee the same, you don't have to say anything, just please stay by my side? Or at least close enough to where I can know you're there.”

Roman and Virgil left to give the pair some privacy not wanting to disturb them of their moment, Logan was utterly speechless, Patton's words had touched his heart and he was surprised by how much he was holding in. “Patton, is that really true?” He asked and took a step forward. “Every word.” Patton replied in a low guilt stricken tone, Logan felt a smile tug at the corners of his lips, something he thought he could never do, and embraced the sad looking male. Patton gasped at the action and wrapped his arms around his torso when he finally realized what he was doing, he sniffed and nuzzled his face in the crook of his neck breathing in his scent.

Logan rubbed his back up and down. “I have strong feelings for you too Patton, I was afraid to admit them because I thought you would never feel the same, and I thought that you would avoid me after, but now that I know you feel the same I'm so, happy!” He chuckled. “I like this feeling Patton I-I l..love it?” He questioned, Patton giggled. “Most of all, I love you Patton. I truly do.” He breathed, Patton was not beyond happy for words, he squeezed Logan tight and hid his face hiding the happy tears that trailed down his face. “I love you too!” He blubbered happily.

The pair stayed in each others arms, Logan waited till Patton was done crying before he pulled him away from the embrace, he wiped away his remaining tears and kissed his cheek. “Next time, if needed, I promise we can fuse. For now, can I sleep? It's been a rather long day.” Patton could see the dark bags resting under his eyes. “Of course, do you want me to wake you before lunch?” He asked as he cupped his face in the his hands, Logan shook his head and gently took hold of his wrists. “I want you to stay by my side, please?” He blushed, Patton grew flustered himself and nodded to him.

“I will,” he promised. “No matter what.”
