~(Y/N)'s POV~

I woke up still leaning on Knockout's shoulder. He was recharging as well, or at least that's what his holoform showed. His chest went up and down gently as he breathed. Placing my hand over where his heart would be, I found a steady rhythm. It wasn't a heartbeat, it was to smooth, more like a pulse. It fascinated and enchanted me. I put my other hand to my own chest, finding the choppy beat of my heart. It disgusted me. Here we are, two completely different beings, one handsome, and perfect, the other a fragile flesh-bag who can't even handle a few months in enemy territory. Heck I can't even handle being on the Nemesis! How come I couldn't have been born Cybertronian?

"Cause you had more of a chance of being offlined."

I snapped my head to the now awake Knockout. I hadn't realized I was talking out loud.

"(Y/N) you have no idea of the destruction on Cybertron. Many were terminated." He stretched, making me have to sit up. "You are very lucky to have been born human."

I snuggled up to his side as he put an arm around me.

         "But I'm... I-I'm-"

"You're everything I've ever wanted." He kissed my head gently.

We stayed on the cliff for quite sometime. Doing nothing but enjoying each others company. But the time we spent with each other didn't last as long as I hoped, and I was soon giving Knockout instructions to the Autobot base.

"Knockout I don't want to go..." I said in his passenger seat. He had terminated his holoform, so I spoke to his dash.

"Don't fret my darling. We'll be back together before you know it."

He stopped just before the main road, parking at the side. I stared down the expanse of concrete, wishing the missile silo would just burst into flames right then and there.

"You going to tell Megatron where the base is when you get back?" I asked.

         "No. I probably never will."

         "Heh, you're going soft."

"No. Tell me, would you betray the Autobots if they ended up having to take care of me?"

At this I was silent, earning a 'thought so' from Knockout. I hate it when he wins arguments, this argument the most.

"But I don't want to go."

"You have made that abundantly clear, (Y/N)."

"Can I stay with you a little longer?"

"If you don't go now, you just might never go."

         "I don't see how that's entirely a bad thing." I sniffed.

We stayed silent for a short time, until, finally, I reluctantly got out of Knockout's alt mode. I made my way slowly to the Autobot base. When I arrived, I was greeted with an overly ticked Arcee, a curious Bulkhead, and, well, an amazingly sympathetic Optimus.

"YOU!" Arcee hollered. I stayed silent. My hair covering my swollen eyes.

"Arcee stand down, she is here for her own safety." Optimus spoke up in my defence.

"You're on her side?" Ratchet shouted, "She ESCAPED!"

"And yet she came back." The Prime did have a point, and no one argued said point, though Arcee and Ratchet grumbled.

I walked silently to my cell, no guard needed. Optimus opened it for me, and I walked in. He closed it after I sat on my bed, and laid down, starting to cry again. I thought I heard him say something along the lines of 'It will be alright', but my sobs had drowned him out.

~Knockout's POV~

It hurt, seeing (Y/N) walk the expanse of road to the Autobot base. I only left when I could no longer see her form receding in the distance. It was tempting, to tell Megatron of the Autobot base, but I wouldn't be truthful to (Y/N) if I hadn't asked her what she would do in my situation. She means to much to me, and being on the Nemesis hurt her more then she realized. She's safe, for now, and I can only hope that she'll cooperate...

Going back to the Nemesis, I saw Starscream fly overhead, I'm assuming going on a mission of some sort. Once back, I found Soundwave waiting for me.

         "Safe." Was all I said.

Soundwave nodded, and left, I'm assuming for the bridge, where I could hear Lord Megatron fuming about the escaped prisoners. I found my way shortly after Soundwave.

"YOU ALL LET THEM ESCAPE!" he bellowed. "Why is it the only one who can do things right had become neutral?!"

"With all due respect Lord Megatron, Wildstryke had always been neutral."

"I don't remember asking for your opinion, Knockout."

I held back my retort of my words being fact, and not opinion. Never thought I'd prefer Starscream's rule over Megatron's, but alas, here I am, wishing for the sudden "disappearence" of the infamous Megatron.

"Lord Megatron, may I ask where commander Starscream has gone off to?"

"I have a task for Wildstryke, and thought she might find it, intriguing. He's searching for her."

It was hard not to chuckle, knowing Starscream to know that she'll be nowhere to be found, and that he'll most likely be reprimanded for his "failure" to find her. These two months will prove to be both torturous, and amusing.

(It's kinda short, but kinda heartfelt too. Hope you all like it! If you like SRD (Street Racer Darling) Then you just might like my short story called "S-107". You can find it in "Assorted Short Stories"! Don't worry, it's TFP related! XP Thanks for reading! Love ya'll!)
