~Knockout's POV~

"Pardon my interruption, but Wildstryke has not fully recovered."

"This doesn't concern you Knockout." Megatron glared, bringing his attention back to the femme.

"I think it'll be fun, besides, my injuries just might make it fair."

I admire her confidence, but this is a death wish. A Gladiator from the Pits of Kaon, versus a fake Cybertronian built as a vessel rather than anything else. He'll crush her.

"I am intrigued by your confidence, surely you know-"

"How you became who you are now? Known that for awhile, doesn't mean I can't whup you at your own game."

"My own game?" Megatron chuckled, "A funny way of putting it."

"Well, I try to amuse when I can," She stood with confidence, her red optics playful, and probably having to much fun pushing her luck, "When would you like to have this... dual?"

Megatron was silent for a moment, thinking, though his optics never left Wildstryke, even as I fidgeted in the silence of the control room. The only noise that pierced this deadening silence was the short tapings of Soundwave's digits at the computers, as always.

"First thing tomorrow, so I suggest you be prepared." Was the war lord's answer.

"When am I not?" Wildstryke retorted, a servo to her hip plate, "Get some good rest, cause I'm not holding back."

She turned to leave, not seeing the sickening smirk on Megatron's faceplate. I could tell he just got what he wanted, I just hope Wildstryke can get out of it fast enough. Having to jog to catch up to her, I pulled the frustrating femme to the side of the hall.

"Are you insane?!" I made sure to keep my voice hushed.

"Do you really have to ask?"

"Wildstryke, this is a lunatic bet! You're not fully healed, and Megatron could crush you!"

"You know I do remember you taking a liking to me because of being a lunatic." She said, ever so sweetly, a digit to her chin. I only shook my helm, both to not show my frustration, and to keep myself from being blinded by her usual tactic of acting innocent, because by Primus she is NOT!

"While that may be partially true, there are some things that your foresight just might not predict."

She gave me a very unamused look, and I started to hope I hadn't just messed up... again.

"This isn't about my foresight failing me, is it?"

Wildstryke continued to stare me down as I failed to meet her gaze, stumbling over my words as I searched for an explanation in my own processor. I settled for a shaking of my helm, staring at the metallic floor.

"Knockout, it'll be fine, you've taught me well, and I'll make sure to change the canon to stun only, don't want to melt the Decepticon leader." She chuckled, and I couldn't help but smile at how confident she was.

We stood there for a good few minutes before it was decided that we should get back to work, or rather, I should get back to work... Let's just say that Megatron wasn't to happy when I came back empty handed after going after that relic.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

"Roman! I'm going to the training room, wanna come?" I called, Knockout's berthroom seemingly quiet.

"Yeah!" I heard from the hidden shelf as he crawled out, sliding down the fire pole, "You told 'Bucket head' about me?"

"Yep, he thinks your an experiment of mine as a sort of minicon, only neutral."

I had asked Knockout why Roman should be introduced as my experiment, when the tiny body was of his ingenuity. He said Roman was my problem now.

"Cool! Does that mean I can terrorize some vehicons?"

"Absolutely not," I lowered a servo so he could jump on, and let him climb up to my shoulder plate, "For now, let's stick with not being a target."

I saw Roman's optics form a pout, his mouth-less faceplate a funny sight to see.

When we made it to the training room, we found it pretty much full as several Vehicons, and even Dreadwing trained, though I honestly took him as one to train alone. Walking through the tumult of screeching metal and the occasional thrown debris, I found an unoccupied corner, and set up some targets to shoot at first, making sure my canon was adjusted properly. I only found three, and shot the first one, watching as the metal melted into hot goo. The second one ended up with a good sized dent in it, but if I shot Megatron with it, he'd most likely implode if hit in the right spot. I adjusted my strength a bit lower, and hoped it worked, then shot the last target. Still a good sized dent. It would be unwise to shoot in the same area twice, or point blank, but it would do for now.

"I think Dreadwing wants to talk to you." Roman said in a whisper.

I had noticed his gaze drift toward me from time to time, but I had ignored it, part of me thinking that I know what it was he wanted to talk about.

"Just don't look him in the optics and he might just go away."

         "To late, here he comes."

Looking over my shoulder, I saw him walking his way, the Vehicons stopping their training as he passed them by, both out of respect and fear. When he reached me, I made no show that I was paying attention.

"I believe a proper opponent is needed when training to fight Megatron." He stated, this wasn't what I had expected the conversation to be.

"I was only adjusting my canon, as you can see," I pointed to the first target, "It's much stronger then any normal one you use."

"As plain as day," He commented, "But this will be a dual, not a mere show of who can hit a target."

I finally turned to face him, Roman hiding behind my neck cables. I can understand why, Dreadwing is naturally intimidating, but that doesn't hinder me in any way.

"You think you can match the war lord?"

"No," he shook his helm, "but I may be a close second."

I looked up at him, skeptically, "Why help me out?"

"Because for once, on this ship, there's someone I can tolerate," He transitioned to a defensive stance, servos up in preparation, "Lord Megatron will try to attack first, so I suggest being a second or so ahead of him."

I noticed the tightening of his right servo, and  jumped onto his arm after he tried to punch my in the faceplate, and kicked him in the helm, sending the behemoth stumbling back. He held his helm, a little confused, but I could also sense that he was the slightest bit proud as I landed back on my pedes, and stood up to my full height. I gave him a smirk, my red optics shining.

         "So, shall we continue?"

I saw the faintest of smiles dawn his features, and I knew we'd be fairly good friends.

"NOT WHILE I'M STILL HERE!" Roman yelled into my receptor.

(I'm enjoying this SO much! Thank you all for reading! I hope you all love it just as much as I do! Keep the tires turning! Love ya'll!)
