~(Y/N)'s POV~

I had left the Autobots once more, in hopes to find better news on Optimus back at Darkmount. Of course, there was none, but Knockout had finally chosen his Best Man. The holoforms for everyone were also finished, and my dress was finally made. The location was still a mystery. Knockout said 'no' to the waterfall because it was too close to the cabin I had lived in with mother... he said it was almost cruel to get married there... especially if I planned on inviting her.

"Honestly, I don't know why you are even THINKING of the wench." He huffed, leaning on the counter that had many a clean medical tool, though some looked like they were meant for torture...

"She's still my mother," I countered, "and frankly, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have met you. Besides, it's not like she'll come. She hates me."

"Yes and it wasn't like Megatron wasn't going to take his rage and point it at you."

Sighing, I looked to the sizeable gash in my arm, noting the worsening of the sparks every time I tried to move it.

"He didn't point his rage at me, he threw something at Starscream, and it almost hit Preda'."

"Preda'? The Predacon?" he questioned, and I nodded, "Wildstryke he's a beast of burden, while he may be strong who knows what he'll be able to withstand when put to work, you can't become attached so easily, especially when Shockwave plans on creating more of them."

"You don't think I know that? Preda' shouldn't be treated that way though... he's like an over sized cat... with dog tendencies... in the body of an ancient Cybertronian beast... Y-you know there's always exceptions!"

He chuckled at my argument, and went to work on my arm with one of the cleaned tools.

When he finished I checked the functionality of my arm, finding everything in order.

"How's the new suit for your holoform?" I asked, and he smirked at me.

"I doubt it can compare to the dress that you refuse to show me."

"Tradition, my dear fiance, tradition." I smiled, and walked out, hearing quite the commotion... upon further eavesdropping, I found that it was about Preda'... and Starscream... great.

Quickly making my way to the Nemesis, I saw Starscream trying to control the beast, and obviously failing at it as he was thrown to the side by his tail. Preda' was more than a little miffed...

"Whoa there!" I raised both arms, as if to comfort a horse, "It's okay, Starscream's all the way over there."

Several vehicons started my way with chains, to bind the ancient beast, and I waved at them to go away before he saw. Preda' looked to me, and lowered his head menacingly, but I gave no indication that I was going to try and tell him what to do. The others might not see it, but I did. That reluctance, the stubbornness. Dogs may show a certain amount, but they still complied. Preda', he was a whole new level of stubborn.

"Alright," I lowered my arms so they would provide a distance, though I was still a ways away, "Look, no weapon, just me, okay? Do you think you can stop for a moment before we break something?" I asked him, receiving only a blink for an answer.

"Why do you try to conversate with the beast?" Starscream grumbled, getting up after finding his footing, "He'll never answer you."

Preda's gaze narrowed to the seeker, and I heard his tiny, girlish yelp when he huffed, a short growl that really only meant annoyance.
