~(Y/N)'s POV~

It was a solid hour before we rolled back into base. Miko was hollering about how much fun that was, and Raf was smiling as he unbuckled to get out. As it turned out, the team had just got back.

"Bumblebee! You'll never guess how fast Wildstryke can go!"

The boy ran up to his guardian, who whirred his curiosity.

"You should have seen her Bulk! I thought we were gonna crash then SCREEEEE! She swerves and barely misses the boulder!"

"I do believe your worries were in vain, old friend, Wildstryke simply occupied them for a derration of time, and I am not worried about her data pad." Optimus stated, a servo on the old medic's shoulder.

         "So that's it?"

I could tell Jack was about to bring the shit-storm whether we liked it or not.

"No scolding? No 'wait for an escort'?"

"I agree with Jack. She took off without telling where she was going, and practically stole the entire database." Arcee included herself into the conversation.

"Wrong, I said we were going to drive around, bash some dunes." I ignored the second part.

My intervention earned a cold glare from the two-wheeler, to which I just rolled my optics to.

"How were we supposed to know you weren't lying?"

"Look, call it whatever you'd like, be it kidnapping, capturing, whatever, the point is, I brought them back, safe and sound, with no 'Cons on my tailpipe. So. Back. Off. Two-wheeler." We held our ground as a heavy silence fell on the whole team, her blue a stark contrast to my still bright red. Our stand-off was interrupted by Raf as he cleared his throat.

"Um... maybe you should go and refuel, Wildstryke. We were gone for awhile..."

I turned to him, seeing that he managed to find his way onto the platform along with Miko, a sweet smile on my faceplate.

"Thanks sweetie, but I'm good for now. We thought of everything, from weapons to energon usage. I can use the smallest amount but still work at full capacity."

Just to show off I punched the air in a defensive stance, smiling even wider as I made Raf snicker at my show. If only he were my kid...

"Don't want to use up to much," Arcee said snidely, "Might want to save your energy."

         "Arcee, be nice." Bulkhead chided.

"It's fine Bulk," I said, my smile turning into a smirk, "Some bots just don't know when to bury the hatchet."

"I'll bury mine right in your helm." The femme growled, fisted servos shaking as her energon boiled. I knew why I had this effect on her, it's rather amusing really. She hates how calm I am, she hates how I'm so apathetic toward my own kind, she hates how easily I can get under her armor, but most of all, she hates how contradicting I am.

Here's a human, happily living in the middle of a Cybertronian war that could potentially destroy my race, and doesn't give a single flying frag about them. Yet I enjoy, and live off of the illegal luxuries of street racing. I have lied and tricked the Autobots many of times, yet I can find refuge with them. I can be the most open and truly myself on the Nemesis, yet I am not safe there. I am untrustworthy, yet trustworthy through many a demonstration. I'm an unsolvable case. A criminal with no criminal record.

"Arcee, I believe you are in need of a recharge." Optimus said sternly, leaving no room for argument.

The two-wheeler looked up to the Prime, ready to argue, but failing to find the words as she hung her helm and left to her berthroom, leaving a string of curses and grumbles behind her.

"It would be best not to antagonize her, Wildstryke, in either form."

"With all do respect, Optimus, my very presence antagonizes her."

         "Yeah, and rightly so!"

"Not you too Jack." Raf said in disbalief. He's such a sweet heart!

"First she almost rams us into a pole!"

         "Sign," I corrected.

"Then she keeps Arcee, Miko AND Bulkhead hostage!"

"Technically I kept them online." I corrected once again.

"She's made Bumblebee crash more than once, unless you forgot about that Rafael!"

To this the boy looked up to Bee, and I saw uncertainty flash through his glasses covered eyes as he silently asked Bee his thoughts on the subject.

         |: In... In Wildstryke's deffense... I did mistake her for Knockout one time... :|

Is it just me or does anyone else think Bee and Raf are just to precious for this world?

Raf translated, the uncertainty still there, but no longer as prominent.

"What about the other times, huh?" Jack continued, but was silenced by Optimus as he interrupted Bee's next statement.

"I believe your point to have been made, Jack, there is no need to go on with your rant."

With one last 'harumph', the black haired teen stomped off, and sat on the ugly, yellow couch.

"My apologies for the inner turmoil I have caused..." While I don't feel remorse about getting on the two's nerves, I did feel truly sorry about the conflict with the others. They're a good team, and a family, complete with kids to, "I hope to be gone as soon as I can."

"There is nothing to be sorry about, Wildstryke, though I would advise that you do your best not to further the conflict."

"I will do my best, and play by the rules, most of the time."

I left with a grin on my faceplate as I went to go back to my human form, waving to Miko and Raf as they hollered their 'see you later's.

One thing is for sure: I'll do my best not to stir the explosive pot I've created. I wouldn't want the kid's worlds to be crushed, especially not Raf's. I don't want that innocent spark in his eyes to die because of a broken family. I know to much of how that feels. For Raf, I will do my best not mess things up. For Raf, I will tread carefully, and wait patiently for my Devil Car to come back for me. Though I won't be as patient to wack him upside his helm for pushing me through that groundbridge!

(I love the mother-son relationship with Raf. It shows that the reader can be humane as well. Thanks for reading!)
