~(Y/N)'s POV~

         "WHAT THE FRAG?!"

Okay, I went to take a short recharge, the sparkling taking its toll times ten now that I'm nearing my due date... It's getting harder to even stay awake during the day, and the lower energon rations here don't help, even with the extra being sent by Knockout. Sparkling aside, I woke up from my recharge to an eerie silence. Then I found out why.

"Wildstryke, it's far from what you think," Bulkhead tried to assure.

"Is keeping Soundwave strapped to a table far from what I think?!"

I went to unbind him, but was stopped by the wrecker.

         "Give us time to explain!"

         "Not until you release him!"

Optimus came up to us, and I looked to him with pleading optics.

"Please, I can insure he doesn't try anything."

The Prime looked to Soundwave, whose visor was as blank as ever, then back to me.

"I'm sorry, but we cannot take that risk. No matter how loyal he is to your cause, he is just as loyal to Megatron's."

I was dumbstruck. Optimus didn't trust me enough to believe me? Soundwave was one of the few I trusted the most on the Nemesis, and I know for a fact he wouldn't try anything horrid if I asked him too... I'll prove it.

         "You're wrong."

With one well aimed canon I shot one off Soundwave's arm restraints, and he soon was completely free. I helped him up, smiling despite the steady aim of almost every single Autobot there.

"Hope I didn't come to late... did you already crash your drives?"

He shook his helm.

"Good. Need any repairs? I'm sure I can borrow-"

"You're not using any of my tools," Ratchet claimed.

"Correction: I'm sure I can steal Ratchet's tools."

I heard him scoff in the background, and I swear I saw a smirk behind that black void of a visor.

"And why are we not advancing?" Ultra Magnus asked, to which I laughed.

"Duh, genius. I'm in the way."

"Then get out of said way." he demanded, and Soundwave turned to him, most likely with a steady glare, unsettling everyone but me.

"I don't think he liked how you said that," I mused, "Maybe if you say it nicer?"

There was no sound from the commander this time, and I smirked.

"Come on Sounder's, I'll take you to my hanger." I grabbed him by his servo, and started to lead him off, only to be stopped by Smokescreen, "You really wanna play this game rookie?"

"It is you, who is playing a game, Wildstryke," Optimus stated, going behind the smaller mech, "A dangerous one."

"That's what they said when I went into Street Racing. Did that stop me?"

When no answer came, I nodded defiantly, and continued on my way with Soundwave in tow.

We made it to my hanger, and I made sure the door closed before letting my guard down by just a bit. I vented a sigh of relief, and let my helm fall to the wide door. Feeling a servo on my shoulder plate, I looked, and smiled when I saw Soundwave.

"You owe me one mister TIC." I snickered, "Are you okay though?"

He nodded, but I wasn't completely convinced.

"Show me your vitals, you're better at lying then Arachnid."

I assume he took this as a compliment when he refused to show me his vitals on his visor.

         "Fine, hard way it is."

I swift punch to his chassis point-blank showed that his reaction time was much slower than normal, and the fact he made little effort to cushion his fall in any way showed that he was far from drained.

"You idiot. You've been working yourself too hard again."

He slowly lifted himself back up, and I went to my energon storage unit, grabbing what was supposed to be for me, and gave it to him. Soundwave obviously knew that it was saved for me only, and refused to take it by doing nothing but stand there.

"If you don't take it I will force it down your intake," I threatened, "Now refuel."

He took it gingerly, and I sighed.

"I will leave you to refuel in peace, but I expect you to stay here. I need to replenish my energon storage."

Taking the small hovering cart, I walked out, going straight for where I knew the energon to be. I felt like some sort of mom with her shopping cart. I hope Soundwave stays in my hanger...

"How can you trust him so easily?"

The sound of Arcee's voice made me jump, and she apologized.

"Well," I thought for a moment, "He's kept my secret for so long now, I guess I've always viewed him as trustworthy."

"Hate to admit it, but you're a lot braver than most everyone here," the two-wheeler admitted, helping with filling my cart.

"I don't really think that, for instance I'm quite terrified about this Sparkling, but I want to go through with it."

She hummed her agreement, and walked with me back to the hanger, the door closed.

"Ultra Magnus has asked for guards to go by every half hour," she informed.

"Thanks, I'll make sure to tell Soundwave."

She nodded, and left.

I opened the large door, and waited for it to slide up completely before stepping into an oddly dark hanger. I remember leaving the lights on when I left...

         "Soundwave?"

No answer...

          "Sou-PRIMUS!"

Something whizzed past my helm, and I ducked, then looked up to see Soundwave's bio-lights turn on as Laserbeak connected with it's master, reunited after being left behind. The silent 'Con straightened himself from what I assume to be a slight recharge.

"That creation of yours is going to be the death of me," I sighed, and placed the energon near the storage unit, to tired to put it away for now, "If you want you can use my berth," I pointed to a metal slab that was raised from the ground. Believe it or not it was quite comfy.

Soundwave shook his helm, and pointed to me.

"It's called hospitality," I sighed, "I just thought I'd offer."

Yawning, I sat down on the berth.

"No funny business, okay?" I ordered softly, and he nodded, watching as I laid myself down. I fell into a deep recharge listening to the soft recording of a Cybertronian lullaby.

(Hehe)
