~Scythe's POV~

I come back to find one child come back to life in an experimental automaton, and the other, being the center of attention of the Decepticon war lord and having enemies on both sides of the war itself. My daughter, has been street racing, to earn her living, and is now living with a Decepticon boyfriend... Yeah no this is just FINE. I sipped the warm tea that was given to me, though it did nothing for the screaming red flags that went off in my mind. I watched as (Y/N) sat down next to Knockout... he didn't seem to have another motive... and they told me of how they met... They claimed that they couldn't even count their adventures together... I might not have been in her life for long, but I'm still her father, and I know the Decepticon ways.

"And you meant for Roman's body to be a sort of... brotherly replica?" I asked.

"In short, yes," Knockout answered, "I was going to have it done by (Y/N)'s birthday, as a  gift-"

I watched as she gasped at the thought, her joy barely being kept in as she went on about him remembering... Oh, how much I missed...

"Knockout, if I may," I started, setting my cup on the table, "What is it that makes (Y/N) so interesting to you?"

I felt a sense of pride take over me as the entire house became silent, my Decepticon half finding satisfaction in the slight air of fear my daughter held, though she did not show it.

"Mr. (L/N), if I may," Knockout seemed unfazed, but rather defiant, "I believe this to be a conversation that should be held out of hearing range."

To this I nodded, and opened the door for this Decepticon, seeing a sense of protectiveness in his attitude, and hurried step in his gate as we made our way from the house, coming up to my truck, and his true form.

"I understand your concern," He started, back turned to me as he rubbed a small splotch off of his alt mode, "But I will assure you (Y/N) is in good servos. I am a medic after all."

His ego will be his downfall.

"I don't think you do understand. (Y/N)'s not some patient, she's only a girl, a broken one at that."

"If that's how you see your own daughter than you're no better than her mother."

The impact of this insult made me growl.

"As far as I can see, you're a failure to her," He continued, and I clenched my fist, trying to keep my Decepticon anger from lashing out.

"You have no idea, what it feels like to be torn away from your family, to be betrayed by a loved one," I growled through clenched teeth, "As far as I can see," My anger subsided to snideness as my fists relaxed, and a smirk appeared on my face, "You only keep her around because you see her as a charity case."

I was met with silence, and an appalled face.

"She clings to you, she amuses you."

"That's enough," He pointed an accusing finger at me.

"She saved your aft and now you act as if you owe her a favor!"

I made him crack as he attacked, and I only dodged, seeing how clumsy he was in human form. I may be half human, but logically, I'm still full Decepticon.

"I bet you had your friends make that Cybertronian body of hers." I chuckled, an underlying thought snaking between my words. This only made him attack once more, and I caught his arm, forcing it behind him as I heard a sharp pop, and a muffled yell as I held my hand to his mouth.

"What, is your plan with my daughter?" I growled, pulling on his dislocated shoulder.

"I think I'll diagnose you with insanity." Knockout growled, earning another pull as I lengthened his arm, "The only plan I have for her is to be the one she can go to for comfort," I pulled again, how can I believe him? "We recently lost a comrade, Breakdown, and I LIED to her, in order to keep her from going after his murderer, who could have offlined (Y/N) as well, I didn't see her for more than a WEEK! And she was here the whole time. The last I had heard of her was a message from Megatron saying that she never wanted to see me again! I still looked for her," I found no lies in his eyes as I strained to find any indication of deceit, "If that's not proof enough of my, as you said 'interest' in (Y/N), than I'll leave right now, and you can tell her that you're the one who resulted in it, and that I'll be on the Nemesis."

I held his arm for another minute as I contemplated his statement. I found no indication that he was lying, and decided that he was being truthful. I let go.

"Now I know you're a Decepticon." I heard him mumble as he popped his shoulder back in place, though I only looked toward the small cabin, windows busted, and wood rotting.

"Well, as a spy, I had to know how to persuade others into telling me the truth."

My statement was met with silence for a good few minutes.

"Wait... was that a bad-cop tactic?"

I met his astonished gaze with a grin, and I knew we'd be on good terms from then on.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

I couldn't see them... They went behind Dad's truck and Knockout's alt mode...

"To the Pit with this, I'm going out there!"

"Oh no you don't!" Roman held me back by my shirt collar, "They're probably just having a manly talk of some sort. I wouldn't expect you to understand."

Whipping around, I gave him one of my best glares, one that could even freeze Megatron if I used it.

I was overly glad when I heard the door close, and both men walked in the house, smiling as if they had been friends since the beginning. I noticed a slight sag in Knockout's left shoulder.

"How'd you do that?" Leaning on one hip, my suspicions rose.

"Huh? OH! That... I tripped and your Sire pulled on my arm a little to hard."

"Your boyfriend here is mighty tough though, I think he'll live."

         "Said the lunatic."

I shook my head, refusing to show my confusion as the two laughed.

"Well, can I have him back? There's a race tonight, and I don't want to miss this one."

"Why's that?" Knockout inquired, and I answered with an evil smirk.

         "Tyson."

(No. Ya'll didn't have to wait a week or more. I'm so happy for all of you who come and read my story, I never thought it would become so lengthened and deep in story line. Thank you so much! Love you all!)
