~(Y/N)'s POV~

The next morning I woke up oddly cheery. Ratchet was the first to notice.

"Well, I guess your 'therapy' is working."

"In your dreams wrench-head. Optimus let me message Knockout, so you have nothing to do with how cheery I am."

The medic looked over to his leader, quite dumbstruck.

"You let her message that... that barbarian?!"

"Don't you DARE talk about Knockout that way!" I kicked his pede, only getting a scoff and an annoyed look in response.

"Yes. There was no harm in it."

"No harm in it? Optimus if he would have traced where the message was coming from-"

"He won't ya burnt marshmallow!" I hollered from on the floor. "Besides, Knockout already knows where your stupid base is."

As I soon found out, some things you just don't reveal.

"WHAT?!" I heard the combined voices of Arcee, Ratchet and Bulkhead. Ratchet started his rant first, later being voiced over by Arcee, who was drowned out by Bulkhead. Bumblebee had just arrived from scouting the area, so was extremely confused as to what was happening.

"SHUT IT!" This got their attention as I started to climb the platform, "He's not going to tell Megatron, why would he?"

        "Because he's a Decepticon!" Was Ratchet's argument.

"And they've been looking for our base since day one." Arcee added.

"Yeah, maybe so, but I'm here." I leaned on the rail, knuckles turning white as I held in most of my anger.

"That is not a valid point, what is valid is that Knockout is a barbaric 'Con with no sense of right and wrong!" Ratchet yelled at me, faceplate almost touching my nose.

This is where I broke a fuse.

"And yet he brought me here." My voice was low, and menacing, making Ratchet back away a bit, "I know the others know, but you have no clue. Human terms mean nothing to you, there just words that you hear from the kids, so I'll use the Cybertronian equivalent. Knockout and I are Sparkmates, so why in this wide world, would he betray those who are taking care of the one he loves most? I sure as the Pit wouldn't if he was in my place. So go back to your computer work, and back. Off."

Ratchet took a step back, looking to Optimus, then me, and back to Optimus again. Arcee was equally unsettled, and backed away, much like she did the first day I met her. Bulkhead made no move, and simply stood, being the bravest of them, though he too, was wary after my low outburst. Bumblebee only stared at me in dismay. I couldn't tell if he was disappointed, sad, or just realizing how much Knockout means to me.

"I believe that she has made her point." Optimus announced.

The others nodded their helms, and went back to whatever they were doing before. I stayed where I was, knuckles as white as the bone that made up my entire skeletal system. I still had much anger inside of me, but I had no way to channel it. So instead I did the only thing I could: cry.

Falling onto my knees, I shook as small sobs took over. I didn't want to cry. I had already cried so much, but my body said otherwise as tears streamed down my face. I heard pede steps in front of me, but I didn't look up, not wanting my face to be seen.

"Would you like me to take you to your room?" Optimus asked, to which I nodded, a forced 'thank you' escaping my lips. He carried me all the way there, and let me jump off his servo, onto my bed. Before he left, I asked the question that would, maybe, solve the mystery.

"Why are you so nice to me? The first day I was here you hated me. What's with the change of spark?"

For awhile he was silent, which started to make me believe that perhaps he did still hate me, and just hid it better than the others.

"Because you chose to come back, and listened to reason. That, and you never claimed to be a Decepticon. It is quite obvious that you only stay there because of Knockout."

"How come the others can't seem to see that?" I scoffed, sniffing.

"Years of conflict has stereotyped our enemies, and your friends. They find it hard to believe that a Decepticon can break away from that stereotype, even the smallest bit."

"I think, that would be plural..." I opened the pendant that came with me, those who I considered family staring back at me, "They broke from their stereotypes... even Soundwave, the silent soldier... Knockout loves me, Breakdown too, but not like Knockout does of course. Steve, he's a vehicon, even helped in getting me here. Starscream did too, but I think he just wanted me out of there. It's still funny seeing his scowling faceplate in the background though." I chuckled a bit, and if I had looked over, I would have seen a soft smile on Optimus' faceplate, but I didn't, so I had no clue.

"It is nice to know that there is hope for them." Optimus left, leaving me to stare at the odd family I call mine. I started to wonder what Knockout was doing at this moment...

~Knockout's POV~

"Hold still, or else it'll hurt even more!" I tried to get Starscream to stop squirming as I repaired his wing yet again.

"You know how sensitive my wings are!"

"Yes, and yet you protect your faceplate instead." I shot back, glaring at him as I tried to straighten his wing. It's been the third time so far, the rest had been dents and scratches. Megatron was getting overly irritable,

"Perhaps it's time to tell him of the real Wildstry-- OW!"

"We will do no such thing."

"Well why not?! This entire thing is only giving me trouble!"

"Only because you come back saying that the mission was a failure."

"What else am I supposed to do? Tell Lord Megatron she's dead?!"

I glared at him again, about to rip his wing clean off.

"You'll be dead if you say something like that again."

This shut him up for a good portion of the time, his wing suddenly not being in as much pain. When I was done, he started heading out the medbay.

"We have to tell him something, Knockout. Be it truthful, or otherwise."

"The next time you come back, tell him you found her then, and that she sends her regards."

"He knows she wouldn't back down from a task, we all do."

"Then say we received a message, and that she sends her regards. Of course, you will have to collaborate with Soundwave."

Starscream nodded, and left. I am quite surprised that he's kept this secret for so long, but at the same time, if he told Lord Megatron now, the force from his anger would most likely be pointed towards his sorry aft. For now I will be thankful, and count my lucky stars. Though I have a feeling these stars are running out...
