THE LAST DAY! The. Last. Day! This one day and I'm gone! See ya suckers I'm gonna be back with my Cherry and start wrecking all your scrap up again! Back to sassing Megatron and giving Starscream a good box in his receptors! Back to street racing and the rush of adrenaline in my veins!

"HEY!" Miko called from outside the vault door.

"Hey! Can't believe I'm gone tomorrow! Oh wait... yeah I can!" We both laughed.

"Well, come on! I wanna show you one last something before you go!"

"You said that yesterday, and you dragged me back to that cave," I rolled my eyes, "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were a Decepticon with your antics."

Miko mimicked fake offense, "Don't insult me!" We both laughed, and I followed her to the main area, which was oddly dark.

"Um... you guys planning my assassination or something?" I chuckled nervously, looking over to Miko... who had vanished from my side, amazingly. "Miko?"

I heard a pede step to my right, and instantly became suspicious. What was going on?

My senses were on high alert as I advanced, the dark area making the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

"This isn't funny Miko. I'm starting to get paranoid, and you know how I am paranoid." They did, actually. They should know that you don't leave a 'Con in the dark, especially when they can hear you.

Another step was taken to my left, and I advanced toward that. Then another to my right, then behind me, in front, to the right. They were surrounding me, I could tell. What was their goal? Then I heard a soft click, and I imagined the gun that would be aimed at my head. Turning, I saw the small light from a simple flashlight, I assumed it was connected to the gun.

"So this is how the Autobots eliminate threats huh?" I stood proudly, "So you really are cowards."

A long silence ensued, until Miko spoke up, being the one holding the light.

"Wow... I've seen you paranoid, but not THIS paranoid!"

The lights came on, blinding me as I sheltered my eyes from the brightness.

"I'll make a note not to throw a surprise party again that's for sure!" Miko laughed, which made me laugh, mainly because I found her laugh amusing.

Looking around, I saw that Raf had a small confetti canon that hadn't gone off yet, he pulled the string, smiling sheepishly. I laughed harder at the bot's faces around me. Bee was scratching the back of his helm, Ratchet was in a corner scowling, Bulkhead was shaking his helm at my reaction, and Arcee and Jack were near the entrance (I assumed they moved there after I called them cowards). The last one I saw was Optimus, who had his usual, leader-like expression. For some reason I laughed harder at this.

"Wow, sorry I said ya'll were cowards! HAHA! Guess that's just the 'Con in me!" The only one who laughed was Miko, while the others were silent. "Thanks anyways guys. I think the last time someone through a party for me was my 21st birthday!"

"Wait... how old are you?" Miko asked curiously.

"Um... I believe I should be... hang on..."

"You don't remember how old you are?!"

"I SAID HOLD ON!" I thought for another moment or so. I hadn't celebrated my birthday in a long while, I knew that much. When I was done with the math I found myself to be going on 30 years of age.

"You're awfully short for 30 years!" Jack laughed, trying to mock me.

"Just because I'm shorter than you by one head doesn't mean scrap. Besides, I could be WAY taller than you if I wanted to be." I mumbled the last part. It was true though, I was short for my age. I could pass as a middle schooler if I wanted, early highschool if I wanted to be living dangerously. I blamed it on my mother, since I didn't know who my dad was... Either way, I used it to my advantage often, and the outcome was often quite hilarious. "Anyway, thanks for the party guys, I really appreciate it." I gave them a genuine smile, making those who liked me smile as well. Optimus simply gave a curt nod.

I found that Miko had baked cupcakes... or rather, Nurse Darby baked cupcakes while she ate most of the batter. Raf bought me a small charm with a red race car. It wasn't an Aston Martin, but he said it was the closest he could get. I hugged him tightly and thanked him, saying I would put it on my small bag that he got for me also. Bulkhead said he got me something too, of which I was quite surprised. Turns out it was a rock...

"It's from the cave Miko and I took you to. Thought it might serve as a good memory of us... you know, rather than you being against us all the time."

I laughed, knowing what he was kinda trying to do.

"My views of you guys will never change. They're still the same. I'm technically neutral, and the only thing I've ever really had against you guys is trying to offline Knockout... well, that and not being able to be as carefree here as I am on the Nemesis." I shrugged, earning a scoff from Ratchet, and helm shaking from Arcee and a shrug from Bee.

The party didn't last long, sadly. Apparently another Decepticon mining operation was under-way, and they needed energon pretty badly. So just about everyone left, save for the kids and Ratchet. Miko whined about wanting to go, and was pretty much held back by Jack, while Raf watched from on the couch. I made my way over and sat by him.

"You know, out of everyone here, I'm gonna miss you the most."

He blushed a dusty pink, slightly embarrassed.

"I-I'm not... I mean..." He stumbled around his words, trying to be modest, and humble. It was adorable. If I ever have a kid, I want them to be just like Rafael.

"Accept the compliment Raf," I chuckled, and gently kissed his head, "There's always a favorite people have, and you just happen to be mine in this group of misfits." I smiled, leaving him to ponder on my words.

I passed Optimus on my way back to the vault.

"I assume you have packed what you need." He inquired.

"You bet! I'll be gone before you can say 'Roll out'."

         "Indeed."

I was about to just bypass him after that, about to double check that I DID pack everything I needed, but something stopped me, and made me turn back towards him.

"Hey Prime." I called, making him turn back around, looking down at me, "Thanks... for... for taking care of me and my stubborn-aft self, I wish I could repay you."

"You are most welcome, and there is no need to repay anything."

"That's not how a racer thinks big guy," I grinned, "That's not how we think."

With that I left him, and the other's, to sort out my stuff again, and perhaps leave a little something for them, as a parting gift. It would take me awhile to figure out how I would repay them all... even Arcee. I'll find something though, I just know it. And it'll be a total KNOCKOUT!

(I HAD TO! NO REGRETS! Thanks for sticking with me this far! Chapter 28! WOW! Thanks so much for all the support and votes and comments! I love you all! Thanks for reading!)
