Safe

I can breathe

And dream

Even if the nightmares

Still come

I won't face them alone

I can finally understand it

The feeling in my gut

I can breathe

And leave

And live

And dream

I made it

Through the bad time

Found the light

When I thought I might die

So with these people

Standing by my side

I'm no longer empty

No longer alone

I'm safe

And sound

Pleased and happy

So thank you
