EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Elissa Tate had a bit of 'anger issues'. So yes, she did break a video game when it wasn't working, Burt wasn't that the video's game fault for not working? Her parents decide its time to send her to her cousins in New York, afraid their vivacious daughter would ruin their reputation. Instead, she runs. All the way to Hawkins. And while sneaking into to the town borders, she sees a boy on his bike turn over, but thrills nothing of it. Until all hell breaks lose.
NOTES:
— elissa gets angry really easy, but her parents don't want to send her away for actual therapy, they think she's embarrassing and don't want other parents to think they have a 'weird' kid
— no love interest since i can't really see her with anyone. she's not a romantic, more of a badass
— she doesn't get scared easily, but leaping before she looks gets her hurt a lot
— in season two, she should try to fight a demodog (bc she think she's strong enough) and lose a limb
— maybe the hendersons could adopt her, bc ms. henderson seems like the "i always wanted a daughter" type
— as the show progresses, she should be less of a wreck and more of a badass
