EXTENDED SUMMARY:
TO BE PUT BLUNTLY, JACQUELINE MONROE WAS EXTREMELY RICH. Her father was the CEO of a company he started when he turned sixteen, and her mother was one of the most successful lawyers in the world. Because of all the money her and her family had, Jacqueline felt that it was okay to be a total... well, bitch because she was "better than everyone else." As well as do whatever she wanted because money could fix anything if there was a problem (that's what she believed, at least).
Until one day, when Jacqueline's caught by the police for drinking and smoking at her boyfriend's party, her parents decided that they've had enough, and decide to send her to live with her aunt in a small town called Hawkins, Indiana. The thought of even leaving New York City scared her, not wanting to leave all her riches and friends behind.
Until she meets *Nancy Wheeler, a quiet yet cute sophmore who Jacqueline couldn't get enough of. Due to a certain liking to the girl, she wanted to befriend her, which caused Jacqueline to get mixed up in all the drama that had to do with alternate dimension and a missing boy.
NOTES:
— based on uptown girl by billy joel
— jacqueline's been surrounded by getting whatever she wants her entire life, until her parents send her away to live with her aunt elizabeth in hawkins. she's very pissed and automatically doesn't like the town the second she steps foot in it.
— for seasons, i think if you choose nancy as the love interest, it should take place in s1 and end wherever you want. however, if you choose steve, then it should take place in s2 and go into s3 (but if you have other ideas that's totally fine, just check in with me first).
— major character development!!!! jacqueline goes from being a selfish, cold hearted spoiled bitch to a sweet and caring girl with the heart of gold. please incorporate that, it's really important to the story line!
— if you choose steve as love interest, then jacqueline and nancy should be brotp (and vise versa).
— as you get deeper into the story and jacqueline starts to develop as a character, she actually really likes discovering and learning about the upside down and all the other crazy things about the town (and eventually star wars and comic books$.
— in either at the end of s1 or start of s3 (depends on ur choice/what you wanna do), her parents should offer her the choice of going back home for good or staying in hawkins for the summer/more time. at first, jacqueline wants to go home, but then decides she wants to stay because she made friends that were actually good to and for her, and wasn't ready to leave them behind.
