EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Jonah only wanted to escape. He only wanted to be reunited with his real family, not the other test subjects. Jonah had the chance, the day Eleven escaped the lab after she opened the gate. He was relieved, so happy to go home. But unfortunately, the guardsmen caught him right before he stepped out, and was kept there
Jonah managed to escape after a brutal *four months, but he couldn't go back to his family. So, he wanted the best thing he was good at: revenge. Running back to Hawkins, Indiana, he made a promise to himself that he would make Eleven pay for what she did. *But, after seeing what she and her new little friend group were up against, from mind-controlled people to a monster-possessed teen who wanted to wipe out the entire American population, he had changed his mind. *Some may say that he had a change of heart.
NOTES:
— this summary was lowkey bad and i'm sorry, this plot just seems really cool to me.
— jonah was a test subject and wanted to escape, but was caught and put through more miserable tests for four months (you can change the time but he should get out before the events of s3 start).
— at first, jonah wanted to hurt and maybe even kill eleven for opening the gate and giving him false hope for escaping. he can spy and find other people, too, and he finds (in real life) eleven and the party at the pool fighting billy. so instead of taking his side (which he was planning on doing), jonah decides to help out eleven, and puts everything behind him.
— ^^ WHICH LEADS TO A BIG STEP IN HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!! HE GOES FROM BEING ALL ANGRY AND MAD AT ELEVEN TO FEELING GUILTY AND WANTING TO HELP HER AND HER FRIENDS FIGHT AGAINST THE MIND FLAYER!!! PLEASE INCLUDE THIS OR ELSE I'LL BE VERY MAD.
— this doesn't have to happen, but jonah should probably die at the end of s3. he sacrifices himself to save the party and everyone else from getting hurt by the monster and billy (i haven't finished s3 so bare with me pleASE). again, this doesn't have to happen. if you don't want to kill him, that's fine but make sure to include more development for his character. the story can lead into s4 as well.
— jonah has the power to control and manipulate electricity.
— the title can change. i was thinking "rogue" could be a cool alternative title, but i'm not sure that makes sense to the story, so you can change it to whatever you want. his name can change, but not his number.
— the description and parts of the summary that are marked with a * can change as well.
— this is somewhat based off of a change of heart by the 1975, but it doesn't have to be at all (i kinda drew inspiration for this plot from that song but again, it doesn't have to be based off the song).
