EXTENDED SUMMARY:
One fateful day freshman year, Steve Harrington got on Tonya Blare's last nerve and she exploded. She silenced the whole class and went off, from that day on, everyone dubbed her the firecracker. Having hair as red as her favorite lipstick didn't help. However, Senior year is when things seem to start looking up. She's got a cute boyfriend, her best friend and her are applying to the same colleges, things are great. Then, her boyfriend cheats on her with her best friend, she gets rejected from the school of her dreams, and there's a fucking monster coming for Hawkins. She wants to scream, but she doesn't want to prove them right.
NOTES:
— Her character is more important than the romance, but there should be a scene where she's yelling at Steve for giving her "that stupid nickname" and how she feels trapped and she'll go from yelling to crying and then Steve is going to apologize and comfort her and she's gonna realize he's not the same asshole from freshman year
— You can include the scene from freshman year as like a prologue or something, but the thing Steve says that finally sets her off shouldn't be too harsh or like sexual or something, but it should be pretty rude or annoying
— Her best friend & boyfriend are both OCs and I didn't really have any face claims in mind for them so go wild
— Tonya is bisexual and she realizes this throughout the story and it's very important to her character arc, DON'T erase this
— She gets into the mess with the Mind Flayer because she lives close to Dustin and she freaked the fuck out because she was walking home when Dustin was luring Dart into the storm shelter and im order to keep her from running and telling someone, Dustin takes her with him
— She used to babysit Dustin so she's more like an older sister to him than anything, but they're really close and Dustin tries to get her and Steve together because he can see that they're kind of perfect for each other
— She gets into the story pretty late into season two, so I would prefer this story to lead into season 3
